(CNN) – A collection of reaction from various groups and individuals to the House of Representatives vote Thursday holding Attorney General Eric Holder in criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running sting.
The NRA has most of Congress by the throat....Attorney General Holder did not deserve this treatment by this Kangaroo Court led by the worst one of all Issa. Shame on them. The world is watching.
Without healthcare, the Republicans are desperate for an issue in the fall. This is all about politics.
Maybe people should look into Mr. Issa's criminal record and financial dealing to see just what hypocrites these self-serving Republicans actually are.
Let the divisions run...Looks like the Grand Old Party wants to re-fight the Civil War they once lost....
Umm.... 17 Democrats voted to hold him in contempt. I guess we conveniently forgot to mention that.
Republicans spent 94 million dollars investigating Bill Clinton's BJ. Would it be too much to ask them to do something to create some "regular" jobs?
Where's the jobs promised in 2010 elections?
This nonsense is going nowhere, and Boehner knows it.
All political theater, no substance.
Where are the jobs?
The Republicans are going to wind-up on the wrong side of everything determining this election and lose to Obama because they are wrong and will pay the price for it.
This Witch hunt will also backfire as did their healthcare arguments.
Why is the GOP wasting their time with this crap? They promised jobs and have done nothing but try to screw President Obama out of his job. Why don't you get to work? Your time is running out.
holder... how low can the bar go...get rid of this embrassement
Issa and house GOP should be sent to work camp in Alaska so they can work for a living for a while. To play politics with an honorable Attorney General? These bunch of idiots waste taxpayers money, they should be thrown to jail.
Have to agree with Anonymous,
this is going to backfire on Issa, Boehner and the Repubs! They will be swept away in November. The cowardly Repubs have no real interest in "Fast & Furious;" they only want the "black guy" out of the White House. And the 17 cowardly Dems that voted with them are afraid of the NRA. And the NRA has an ulterior motive, they don't care who gets killed with an over-abundance of guns on the streets. They just want the guns to be out there. There have got to be stricter gun laws. End of story.
Who Cares!! Republican are just CRYING over the health care ruling
issa needs to be subpoena for past acknowledgement of fast and furious from previous administration..
That's too bad because who cares what the teapublikkkans think of anything anymore. They have shown that their only job (at least they have one) in life is to sink the country further and make sure the President is a one termer.
That seems more like a pipe dream (unlike the keystone pipeline they are holding hostage over student loans) at present.
BTW – somebody tell the bishop that he can't reserve a SCOTUS decision on his first day in office (not that it will happen) or ever. I guess the businessman doesn't know the first thing about how a bill works or how our laws are made.
Sen. Cornyn's remarks to Atty. Gen. Holder during the hearings regarding voting laws says it all.
I never voted a straight party ticket until the Bush regime took power in 2000. After that, I never wanted any GOP member to be in elected office. As long as these incompetents fill the GOP roster, I will be voting straight Democrat. That's where all the intelligence is these days, the caring, the pursuit to build this country back into being a good, stable country.
