No criminal prosecution of Holder for contempt

Washington (CNN) – The White House and the Justice Department made clear Friday what had been expected all along: Attorney General Eric Holder will not face criminal prosecution under the contempt of Congress citation passed by the U.S. House.

Legal experts noted this week in the runup to Thursday's House vote that President Barack Obama's assertion of executive privilege in the case would prevent a criminal prosecution under a practice dating to the Reagan administration.

Of course they won't enforce the laws of this nation, this Chicago Mob hasn't followed the law since the day they took office, which is why Border Patrol agent Brian Terry is dead and why hundreds of Mexicans are dead.

It is becoming very clear the Obama adminstration is nothing but a bunch of lying, criminal mobsters that break our nations laws on a daily basis. Now people have died from their actions and they are stonewalling and covering up. Obama has invoked Executive Privilege which means he's also up to his neck in this mess.

The American people had better wake up and remove this band of criminals and liars from office this November. Obamacare turned out to be a massive fraud and now people are dying from their actions. Who will be the next to die from their incompetence and lawlessness??

This is BS, nothing but a witch hunt by these worthless Republicans who are hell bent on overthrowing this government with their continuous attacks on the President. I am really convinced that they really hope to see the country crash, massive unemployment, gas prices at 10 bucks a gallon, and just misery all around. They obviously think they can blame all this on the President. What bunch of worms, take the country down to get their way.

The GOP provided no evidence of a crime- just wild conspiracy theories about gun control. Speaking of gun control (or the lack thereof), why hasn't Issa gone after Jan Brewer of Arizona? Arizona's super-liberal gun laws are what are really placing guns in the hands of the Mexican cartels.

@ Obama 2012 – did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?
What a whiny, cry baby response to the weird crazy strategy of the GOP. Unsubstantiated, uninformed and pretty pathetic.

    Have a nice weekend!

This is how a legal system works. Holder was not guilty of any wrongdoing, deal with it right-wing sub-humans.

Hear, hear, I couldn't agree more! Issa and the Repubs have got NOTHING to offer us, so they do the same-old distraction action.

If I were an old-school Repub, I'd be crying in my beer about what the GOP has become and the type of low-life ignoramus it attracts. Raygun and Goldwater are spinning in their graves ... and McCain, oh, McCain, how can you live with yourself?

If issa cares so much about getting to the bottom of this, why hasn't he called any witnesses from the ATF Phoenix field office to testify? Could it be because that would reveal how this whole gun walking fiasco was started under GW Bush?

I guess since you are the head law enforcement official in the country you can ignore subpoenas and laws. They just apply to us everyday people.

I'm not sure what Holder has accomplished. Under Bush we doubled
the size of the Border Patrol and still can't stop gun running.
The Wachovia Bank was found guilty of laundering Mexican Drug
money and nobody went to jail. They were allowed to plea
bargain it. $160 million dollar fine.

How typical. The Ruling Elite are not held to the same standards that ordinary citizens are. I can imagine what would happen if I ignored requests by a Congressional Committee, if I did not pay my taxes like Timothy Geitner or if I delved in insider trading like John Boener and John Kerry. TERM LIMITS. IT'S TIME.

Holder and Obama just want the murder of 2 border patrol agents with guns smuggled to the drug cartels by ATF swept under the rug. At least until after the election.
