Washington (CNN) – You can't go higher than the high court. So, the way the White House figures it, health care is the law of the land. Period.
"It's time now to get over the debate and to implement the law," White House chief of staff Jack Lew told me on "State of the Union" on Sunday.
"Cutting taxes won't solve our problems. It will make them worse."
Indeed. In fact, the Tax Policy Center (non-partisan) published a report proving that Deputy Doublethink's tax plan would actually increase taxes on people in the lowest income quintile and would add $900B to the deficit in 2015 and $3T over ten years. Meanwhile, it would give approximately $750K in tax cuts to those in the top 0.1% and over $150K in tax cuts to those in the top 1%. It would, in fact, help the GOP/Teatrolls accomplish their real goal: destroying the federal government so it can be reduced to nothing more than a shell full of puppet plutocrats who use the military for the benefit of industry giants and their corporate imperialist pursuits, such as attacking other countries in order to secure control of their natural resources or throwing military might around to effect regional economies to secure better deals.

Apparently you missed the fact that Mitt Romney's Health Care plan in Massachusetts had the same requirement but it was defined in the law as a tax and if an individual purchased insurance they were given a tax exemption. For universal health insurance this is one of the ways to make the finance of health care work. And it does.....
Apparently you missed the Romney campaign memo. The Mass. law imposes a fine, not a tax. A Republican would never raise taxes on people. Please try to keep up, and stop the flip-flopping. Pulling for Romney is starting to wear off on you.
