Grassley letter to Holder demands more Fast and Furious answers

Washington (CNN) – The House may have voted contempt charges against Attorney General Eric Holder, but that has not ended the investigation into who at the Justice Department knew about Operation Fast and Furious - and when.

Tuesday, Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, sent a letter to Holder demanding to know who at the Justice Department was aware of a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives memo on questionable tactics, which was forwarded to ATF headquarters and possibly to the Justice Department one day before Justice sent a faulty letter to Grassley denying any "gunwalking."

Charleton Heston's gone, so all Grassley has left to cuddle with are angry letters.

Whistleblowers, huh? I suppose Grassley likes listening to whistleblowers who tell him what he wants to hear....but not ones that don't....considering that Issa and the rest cut off whistleblowers testifying before Congress when they began to explain how gun control and criminal laws were hampering their ability to arrest these people. But hey, that's alright...when you have control of Congress, yo're supposed to try to skew the congressional record and prevent valuable information from interfering with your witch hunts, right? Grassley is asking "whose scalps can I go after now?" and that's all.

It's funny Chuck Grassley sits on the committee for Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry....

So as far as Agriculture goes.. Iowa has a terrible ground water problem, farm chemicals have been contaminating the ground water with nitrates for decades, whole sections of Iowa can not drink their well water..
As far as nutrition goes...our school children are over weight from eating and drinking high fructose corn syrup,
As far as Forestry goes Iowa does not really have much forestry...so what dah heck???

And Iowa has a huge section of the population of parents that no longer trust our government vaccines at all..

Chuck Grassley should pay attention to Iowa's problems...and not help the NRA shutdown the ATF office in Tucson Az.

Maybe Senator Grassley should realize he is beating a dead horse. He needs to interview all of the people actually involved in this activity including those from the Bush administration who started the whole thing and then he might find out why it was done, who thought the whole idea up in the first place and what went wrong. Can't he see that there is not general interest in wasting so much valuable time on this issue. It is terrible that a border guard was killed and I am sure many others were injured or killed during the last administration but it might have been covered up better. It is obvious he is following a vendetta more than trying to get overall facts. Get to work solving the economic problems, pass some bills, learn to compromise and stop focussing so much on trying to make your President fail.

This is what may end up defeating Obama. Hate to say it, but obama absolutely will not get rid of his "failure" & worthless" people that he's appointed in his cabinet, and on his team. He's got all these czars & everybody else that he knows, his friends, his wife's friends, and everybody else that he knows, he ended up giving them "Jobs" in his administration, but they may not have a job when november comes around, especially after the election. He's definitely got some "under performers" in his administration. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out why Obama still has him around. The only thing that I can figure out is This : In My Opinion, I think "Holder" actually has got something ON obama. If he didn't, certainly obama wouldn't let holder continue to drag obama's administration down. I wish there were somebody ELSE running for our commander in chief, (another Dem) romney isn't going to produce any miracles, for sure.

This is just a witch hunt over a poorly-conceived plan that started during the Bush Administration. Everybody associated with it screwed the pooch but President Obama wasn't associated with any part of the plan – this came from the Congressional POS Issa himself. It's just more cheap GOP politics to make us forget how little they've done to create jobs..

Why haven't they asked anything from the agents that were involved in the program? Did they interview their supervisors? Why are they relying on Holder alone?

Perhaps they should ask the Bush administration about the details of how this “fast and furious” was supposed to have worked and who got paid and made the big profit on this. That should yield interesting insights. But like always, the GOP never takes responsibility for anything – not for the past, the present or, we know that, for the future. Thinking about the useless war they started in Iraq, the lives and health and money lost there – pulling worldwide the economies down with their “deregulations” and “vulture-capitalism”, one is speechless listening to their accusations these days!
And, they are already plotting about new (old) ways to enrich themselves! What a shameful, disgusting mess the GOP has become!
