Pawlenty, Jindal to stump for Romney along Obama's bus tour path

(CNN) - Former presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will go to Ohio and Pennsylvania later this week at the same time President Barack Obama travels through both states on a bus tour, a campaign official for Mitt Romney said Tuesday.

As part of a bracketing strategy, the official said both surrogates will be on Romney's campaign bus, making stops Thursday and Friday in "several of the same areas" as Obama "to make sure the Romney message gets out."

The two are considered to be potential running mates for the presumptive GOP presidential nominee. Pawlenty has made several campaign appearances for Romney, while Jindal has expressed his support in interviews and conference calls with reporters.

Obama’s campaign and Democratic groups took a similar strategy when Romney had his own bus tour through several rust-belt states last month.

  1. When you have a bad candidate

Mitt is still in hiding, trying not to answer questions, and instead he sends out these wanna be's to campaign for him? Why is he so afraid to answer questions, and why is it that not even the republican chairman agrees with Mitt? Might be the first election in history where we never actually see or hear from the republican candidate, choosing to spend a billion dollars on negative ads. My bet is they won't introduce one single plan for the ecomony or job creation, but will instead just say... they got a plan.

While Pawlenty & Jindal are with Romney they should ask him how he feels now that the SCOTUS sided with Pres.Obama and solitified his re-election ? Or mabe their going there to say Hey Romney HOW COULD YOU HAVE DONE THIS TO US? You singlehandledly gave the President his second term period. They all better have a stiff drink !

Oh, now that would be just a precious combo. At least in McCain/Palin one was moderately competent, but such incompetent crazy at both the top and bottom of the ticket would make for a priceless few months.

Mr. Romney may have boatloads of money, but no amount of $$$$ will ever be able to buy him class, or decency.

We all reap what we sow. Democrats should quickly have surrogates follow Mitt Romney bus.

Pawlenty and Jindal are so impressive, that they will be the kiss of death to Romney or any other candidate they endorse or campaign for.

I wish Romney would just pick one and quit this jerking people around with his maybe yes/maybe no so called vetting process. And of course, they all are panting after the job like a dog in heat. I guess that's one way to get volunteers to work – promise them everything, but just what is he going to deliver to these people?

Romney is using the members of the Republican Clown Car to stump for him? These are the same radicals rejected by voters resulting in a candidate nobody really wants – the flip-flop preppy.

Yawn. Besides doing what the POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama, is doing....does the presumptive GOP challenger ever have any original campaigning ideas? This is just embarrassing for the GOP. Good luck. Happy Independence day everybody! OBAMA/BIDEN 2012

Can't Romney and his cronies think of anything on their own, that they would follow President Obama around on his bus tour? There is the whole USA to do their bus tour-

Are they following the president because they can't read a road map??? Probably!!!!Most of us have already gotten Romneys message.......It is..." Well, we'll have to see about that":....."" I guess we'll wait and see how things work out"" The man has not answered a straight question with a straight answer in so long that we've just given up expecting one!!!. He cannot be a president if he can't come up with an occasional intellegent answer!! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?????

Yea! We're going to repeal that bill so you will still be denied coverage for pre-existing conditions!!
Yea! We're going to kick your kids under 26 off your health plans!!
Yea! We're going to rid of that pesky individual mandate so that all you freeloaders can choose to not have insurance and then make the hospitals and ERs and doctors and insurance payers cover your costs when you have an accident or get sick!
Yea! We're going to give more power to Wall Street and the corporations and give them even more tax cuts and tax breaks!
Yea! We're proud to let the rich get richer and as for those pesky poor folks and the middle class - let 'em eat cake!
Yea! We're white, we're male, we're angry, we love Rush and Sean and FOX News! Yea, team!
