Biden takes on voting rights issues at NAACP convention

(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden delivered a rousing address to the NAACP in Houston on Thursday, bolstering support for President Barack Obama and drawing sharp contrasts with the Republican Party on civil rights issues.

On the heels of recent voter identification disputes, Biden strayed from his typical campaign speech to zero in on voting rights, arguing that Republicans were making it more difficult for certain group to vote.

I was watching this morning a cameo of all of Biden'ts blunders on Morning Joe; I was LMAO – He's an authentic, down to earth person and if he misspeaks, he would recover naturally – If he would ever get booed, he will know how to come out of it "honestly." He will do fine because he is not made of "plastic" – he's REAL – and not a Flip-Flopper!!!

bidem needs to push for folks to go picket out side Congress so that they past the American jobs act that Obama wants them to past, so that millions of Americans can be hired. the repubs thinks that if the economy is a goes down the drain, that Obama is a gonner. but they failed to think that folks will remember, who took this country from a 9 percent retraction, a 7000 stock market crash, a 8000 job lost per month and the worst financial crisis in 8 decades. their natural instinct will revert back to Obama, because they know he'll tax the rich who are outsourcing American jobs and tax money to china, and rebuild our cointry, hey mitten blacks are not the only folks that needs government help, have you visited one of your red states lately.

The NAACP, represents very few African-Americans. Most of African-Americans are not the members of NAACP.
For example, NAACP never and ever represent Ethiopian-Americans, Egyptian-Americans, Libyan-Americans, Somalian-Americans, N and S-Sudan-Americans, etc. The NAACP is a self-proclaimed Organization who do not represent more than 90% of African-Americans.

What does it mean, African-Americans?? The NAACP is exaggerating itself.

The NAACP must state clearly whom they represent by using African name. The NAACP doesn't even know, who Africans are.

NAACP represents its own members only. It's Utter using big names and representing only its own members, to get donations.

The NAACP doesn't even know, how many Countries are in Africa. It's just fooling and confusing itself.

So why is Obama "taking a pass"? Per the article, "The president will miss the event due to a "scheduling conflict," his campaign said.". But then we see that "the president's schedule for Thursday, released Wednesday evening, appears to be wide open with the exception of his daily briefing with senior aides and advisers"

Okay – here we go – the White media is putting a positive spin on the fact that Romney got BOOED at the NAACP Convention – I don't believe it!!! They are claiming that the speech Romney gave is the SAME speech he gives wherever he goes – even to his own supporters; I have a problem with that!!

Romney said, "... if you understood, who I truly am in my heart and if it were possible to fully communicate what I believe is in the real enduring best interest of American – African American families, you will vote for me for president..." "... and I submit to you this, if you want a president who will make things better in the African American community, you are looking at him..."

Really??? Romney "stuttered" when he said "American" then changed it to "African American" – Would he say "White Americans" to his audience, which is all WHITE, maybe??!! What if there were Whites in the NAACP audience? Also, would he tell his White audience that he is running for President so that he can make things better for Blacks in their communities? NO, he would not!! I had a problem with him using the words, "African American" when he could have just said “Americans” – PERIOD!!!

Furthermore, some are saying he got a standing ovation in the end – More than half of the audience "did not" stand up – has anyone noticed that when the cameras panned the audience at the end??

Romney went to the NAACP Convention to appease to his base and he succeeded. We gave him more ammunition when we booed him and now he “loves it!!!”
