Jackson, Wyoming (CNN) – With the majestic Teton Mountains as a backdrop, Mitt Romney will attend a big bucks fundraiser Thursday at former Vice President Dick Cheney's Wyoming home and country club.
At $30,000 per individual or couple, the biggest givers will sit down for a private dinner inside the residence of Cheney and his wife Lynne, according to state party officials.

Prior to the dinner will be a reception at Teton Pines Country Club, near the Jackson Hole home where the Cheney's spend their summers. The club boasts an Arnold Palmer signature golf course, tennis, cross country skiing, and fly fishing - a favorite pastime of the vice president.
Bill Scarlett, a Wyoming Republican Party committeeman from Teton County, whose family has been longtime friends of the Cheney family, confirmed the details of the fund-raiser to CNN.
A private host committee reception will begin at 5 p.m. MT for couples who contribute or help raise $50,000. They will become a Romney Victory Founding Member and will get preferred status at the Republican National Convention.
Those who contribute or raise $10,000 will get their photo taken with the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
The general reception at 6 p.m. MT, where Romney is expected to speak, is available for a donation of $1,000 per person.
Scarlett has been involved in Republican fund-raising in the area, along with his father Dick, who served as state finance chairman for the Bush-Cheney re-election campaign. He said the enthusiasm for Romney and the GOP is unlike anything he's experienced in recent presidential cycles.
"People are fired up. I've never seen this much excitement before," Scarlett said.
Citing Teton County's high unemployment rate, which is slighter higher than the nation's 8.2% national average, Scarlett said he senses people know that major change needs to happen. "People are tired of it. We need to get people back to work."
It's likely that the former vice president's daughter Liz Cheney will attend the evening events with Romney, according to Republican sources. She recently purchased a home in nearby Wilson and is active in the state party.
Her sister, Mary, who married her longtime partner Heather Poe last month, may also attend.
State party chairwoman Tammy Hooper was driving six hours to attend the Jackson Hole fundraisers. "I anticipate that it will be a monumental type of event."
The Romney campaign and state officials are tight-lipped on how much the fund-raisers are expected to bring in for the presidential candidate and party's Victory Fund.
Cheney has largely kept a low profile since he received a heart transplant more than three months ago, but he has offered Romney public advice about the qualities he should look for in selecting a vice president.
Last year Romney praised Cheney, who vetted candidates for George W. Bush when he himself was selected to be the running mate.
"Whether you agree or disagree with him, this a man of wisdom and judgment, and he could have been president of the United States," Romney said at an Arizona town hall in September. "That's the kind of person I'd like to have - a person of wisdom and judgment."
