(CNN) - President Barack Obama returned to Virginia for the third time in as many days Sunday.
But unlike his campaign visits on Friday and Saturday, his most recent visit to the battleground state was a golf outing.

The president hit the links at Fort Belvoir, and the White House said he was joined by his regular partner Marvin Nicholson, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, and his senior adviser David Plouffe.
On Friday, Obama campaigned in Virginia Beach, Hampton and Roanoke, and on Saturday, his campaign events were in Glen Allen and Clifton, Virginia.
Virginia is one of seven toss-up battleground states on the CNN Electoral Map.
Obama hit his 100th round of golf as president on Father's Day this year.

I don't care who is golfing; I think that it is a foolish sport to hit a ball and then go chase it. I like a spot where everything is contained in a stadium (baseball, hockey, basketball etc).

Poor CNN. They finally get around to posting a story about obama golfing over 100 rounds, but they carried his water for so long, they lost most of their audience....I only comment so that Dale wont be alone on this thread.
Americans elected Obama to campaign and golf and vacation and party like a rock star. Governing, we don't need no stinking governing.

Mitt Romney chooses to spend time with his family and attend chuch on Sundays.....obama doesn't believe in going to church and chooses to spend at least six hours away from his family every Sunday.

Man it must be nice to take 4 weeks off a year, just to play golf. So on top of the fact that we have to pay this guy to be the President, we have to pay for 100 rounds of golf at a minimum $500/pop PLUS all the Secret Service that is involved to make this happen every time at easily 50,000/round. It's insane how much this guy spends and then has the AUDACITY to ask the Rich to help pay more. Why?? Just so you can play more golf at the taxpayer's expense? I don't care what you do on your vacations...but don't you DARE say that you are in your office and working, when you are out on the golf course. It is demeaning to the American People who work hard, every day, just to get by...only to have some two-faced imbecile spouting off about how the rich need to pay more taxes. This man needs to get his head examined.
And once again vets who spent 15 – 20 -30 years at low pay and insults defending this country were knocked off courses, for 4 or 5 hours...a tiny benefit that they spent their blood, sweat, toil and tears to earn.
He deserves a break just like everyone else. We don't need a stressed out Pres of the USA. Besides, his position probably has him working even on his off time.
Where is the media outrage ?
Where are the weekly stories and talking heads excoriating the president on his seemingly endless golf outings and lavish travel of the first family?
Where's the criticism of the voluminous campaigning?
Where is the media scrutiny of the presidential "optics" of all of this while we have troops in harm's way overseas?
Where are the media standards?
Just like the coverage... absent.
Wow! What else is new?! Other than letting the economy/jobs tank and relentlessly and unjustifiably attack Mr. Romney and whoever does not agree with his crap, that is. Extort political contributions, vacation, play golf, extort more political contributions, vacation, play golf, and repeat again and again.
And, most if not all these junkets on the taxpayer's dime. This man and his flunkies have no shame or respect for the American people.
