Later in the day, Romney will attend another fund-raiser in Jackson, Mississippi. Romney's two events Monday come after a few days away from the trail at the Republican candidate's vacation home in New Hampshire.
Jindal, who originally backed Texas Gov. Rick Perry in the Republican primaries, came out in support of Romney in April. He is widely speculated to be a potential vice presidential pick for the former Massachusetts governor.
Outside the event Monday, a small number of protesters had gathered with signs reading "Hey Mitt, show me yours I'll show you mine (tax returns)" and "Tricky Mitt: what are you hiding."
