Colorado governor: Questions about Romney taxes 'almost visceral'

(CNN) - John Hickenlooper grabbed the attention of national Democrats in 2010 when he withstood a Republican wave to win the governorship in Colorado, an emerging battleground state.

He caught some lucky breaks on the way: Colorado Republicans failed to nominate a serious candidate in a three-way race, and Hickenlooper ran a quirky and widely praised television ad that depicted him showering with his clothes on, symbolically rinsing off the stink of negative campaigning.

While some jobs, after a company merger or takeover, might be necessary does that mean taking those jobs overseas to India, China and/or Mexico where the same positions will now be manned by foreigners for lower pay while the American workers end up in the unemployment line?

Mitt Romney's credibility has been cast in serious doubt on the issue of when he left Bain. His ability to handle a crisis in once again on display as his campaign mishandles yet another political crisis. A crisis on the same subject that keeps coming back to haunt him.

Romney's arrogance is on display as he asserts that he will not release anymore tax returns. Incredulously, he says this as if we have forgotten the fact that he ran for POTUS in 2008 and should have been prepared to release tax returns during that campaign. Apparently he had no intention of releasing anything then, and had to have his hair set on fire to release anything in 2012.

Is this the guy we want running the country? Secretive with his finances. Secretive with his campaign donors. Secretive with his plans for the future.

"Facts don't support Obama's charges against Romney"..............liberals need to read Gergens piece this morning. If you think Obama is factual in his advertising, once again Obama either gets it wrong intentionally or he is knowingly lying to the American people. If you are railing against Bain Capitol or Romney Taxes than you still have not gotten it and should lay off the Kool Aid!

That's right Mittens show us your papers. At first I only wanted him to do it because of the way the GOP/baggers hounded President Obama about a stupid birth certificate. I thought Mittens might have been hiding something but now I know he is. He is being entirely too cagey.

    OBAMA 2012!

And please don't forget the long form birth certificate since that seems to be another requirement even after you have provided proof you are a citizen. Come on Mittens, chop chop.

    OBAMA 2012!

Earth to've got not only the Democrats saying show more, Bill Kristol, Gov Bentley (AL), George Will, GOP strategist Tyler, Rep Sessions (TX), and former RNC chairman Michael Steele all saying you should also and I'm sure there are plenty of others that want to say that but are afraid to. The more you resist, the furhter down you go in credibility. And any tightie rightie that wants to say it......transcripts DO NOT MATTER. We are talking standard practices for taxes by candidates. Keep it up....your advisors are a bunch of dopes that are sending you into the abyss

There`s a line in the original Spiderman movie by Norman Osborn [aka Green Goblin] ; something about " the masses lifting a few exceptional people up on their shoulders". I think Mitt Romney honestly believes this.

Any patriotic family that has 5 male sons, each of whom came of age in the 9-11 era, would certain have at least 1 that went off to fight for the country [heck, even Ms. Palin can check that box]. Yet, Mr. Romney & his brood can not.

But Mr. Romney, if your family members can`t have the courage to put their butts on the line to fight for America, shouldn`t you sir at least not cheat the US treasury out of the money it uses to buy body arnor and bullets? Instead of carrying your fair share, you use offshore tax shelters to enrich yourself while other`s sonns die in your war.

My previous industry of over 12 years was outsourced to Singapore & China. Our company was purchased by one of these Bain-ish corps that chose to evade US taxes & ship our jobs overseas. Romney sadly reminds me of this period.

Fortunately, I started a new career I love in real estate under President Obama who is helping to save our housing market.

Hickenlooper – You of all people, should know better. you have been a failure as Governor of Colordo because of your idealalogical views – and now hopping on Obama's train and slamming anything that will pose a threat to your disastrous governorship is totally expected. Under your reign, Denver has become a sanctuary city for illegal aliens and Foreclosures are now 10th higherest in the nation. Get off your high-horse and do something constructive!

I figured that would be how the dems shower. Too lazy to even take their clothes off to take a shower. I think Obama has taken more vacation days than work days in his presidency so far. It's going to be a rude awakening in a few months when he has to try and find a new job. He hasn't helped creat any so join the rest of Americans out of work... I know I know, he does get paid like $250k for the rest of his life by being a former president so I am sure he will have someone write a book or two for him so he can store up his millions and millions of dollars axelroids said he has.
