Romney tries to dislodge Obama from attack

(CNN) – New ads from the presidential campaigns encapsulate where the race stands, with President Barack Obama's camp continuing its assault on his challenger over his business record and refusal to share tax records and Mitt Romney trying to make allegations of cronyism knock the incumbent off the assault.

A new Romney TV commercial advances the campaign's latest attack strategy, accusing Obama's administration of sending taxpayer dollars to failed energy companies whose owners contributed to his campaign.

Romney claims his experience as a businessman make him the best choice for president. I ask all of you, assuming you work for a corporation of some sort, to look at the people that run your company and ask yourself if you want people like this to be running the country?

The Bishop could dislodge Obama from the attack simply by......releasing the records in question and then trying to explain what's in them that may be distorted.
    It's really that simple.
He can shut it down, why won't he?

A right wingnut calls Obama the communist. She has gone from being a moron to being an idiot. Although, the communist party has a higher approval than congressional republicans.

The GOP is doubling down on their "We hate the US Government" tactics and are failing to realize the many partnerships that have made America the great nation that it is today. Businesses thrive, just as all citizens, from a strong nation with a built to last economy, modern infrastructure, superb education system, and united government A business that no one can visit to, or make a connection with, is a failed business and would not exist .A business that sales products that no one can buy is doomed as well. Further, in response to his comments on Steve Jobs and Henry Ford are at best laughable. To think that Ford would build cars for people to commute on roads that do not exist is dumbfounded, to think that Apple would benefit from consumer electronic devices that require some sort of global connectivity, ie the internet that had never been invented, is absurd. Obama's slogan should be "Re-building America Together" and Romney's should be "Take All that Can and Give Nothing Back!"

Governer? Weren't you prepared to any release tax returns back in 2008 had you won the nomination? I just know that you were. Right? Why can't we see those? They should be ready to go. I know you really didn't mean all of that posturing stuff when you said to Andrea Mitchell about "I'm thinking about it".

Republicans condemn our president and are always trying to run on the republican Bush record, 8 million jobs lost in last three years, a near depression, $4.6 trillion added to our national debt, unfunded wars, unfunded drug program, unfunded TARP, 4000 troops killed in an unnecessary war, stock market drop from over 13,000 to under 7000, $1.6 trillion deficit in last year, increase in size of government, asleep at the wheel on 9-11. Those were the good old days.

Just a little while ago I was watching CNN's report on1297 counties designated as disaster areas due to the drought, food prices will be going up, it was also mentioned we have a stalling economy and there was also a report on the unemployed borrowing against their retirement savings and not paying back within 60 days the money borrowed which now these people face penalties and these Democrats and President Obama are worried about Romney's tax returns??? I am sure if the IRS had found something wrong in Romney's tax returns we would have heard about it and the IRS would have acted on it.

Does 28 consecutive months of job growth under Obama vs. 3 years of 8 million jobs lost under Bush add to a positive record? What about an end to the war in Iraq, most of al Qaida leaders dead, Ghaddafy gone, 6 million college students being allowed to stay on their parents insurance plan, uninsured republicans having to pay for insurance and not being able to free load at the emergency room, equal pay for women, saving the US auto industry and 2 million auto related jobs? Unlike Europe, who followed the republican austerity cuts and made things worse, Obama invested in tax cuts and jobs in the stimulus.

No. I do not want salesmen runnng anything. They run our corporation and they run it into the ground. They waste more money cutting corners, which should not be cut, than anything else. They are never wrong, because it was always someone else's doing. They are never clear on what they say and mean because they are constantly kaleidoscoping their positions on issues as the seasons change. No, I do not want salemen running anything.

All of you people calling President Obama names and accusing him of hating America and having a rap sheet, it just must crawl all over you that the majority of Americans are just not smart enough to enjoy your intellectual superiority. How can we all sit out here knowing that he is the worst president ever and a crook and a lair and not even an American citizen and still vote for him. It must just drive you stinking nuts that despite all his flaws, he is still preferred over Mitt Romney by the majority of Americans, and all the name calling in the world will not change that fact.

People don't like Mitt Romney because they see who the guy really is, and pulling the President down to Romney's level is not going to change that fact.

    ---------------------------------

Yes, of course, it's better than a guy who only worked 4 years as a junior lawyer and the only other job was that of a community organizer, oh no wait, he also worked part-time as a lecturer. Notice he has no experience in public sector jobs, no academics in economics, business administration, public finance, public economics, public management, etc... in other words our country is in the hands of a non-experienced, non-academic ex-lawyer because even his license expired in 2002.

    @California :
Aside from this scandal involving the manipulating worldwide lending rates, Bob Diamond was planning to host a European fundraiser for Mitt Romney in London at the Olympics. If Obama was doing any kind of fundraising in Europe you can be certain that the right wing would be all over him.
    -------------------------------------------------
It appears that your boy Robmey was going to combine his trip to the olympics with obtaining a little cash for his stash. Illegal? Who knows. That got nixed because his London boy got caught up in, gasp, a scandal. So it is not at all far-fetched to ask if he combined his little visit to the Jordan Prince in July with a little campaign contribution from his new BFF, the Prince.
YOUR retort in regards to Obama raping a baby, on the other hand, was just a typical GOPeeing Teatard knee-jerk response: irrelevant, idiotic, and illogical.

    P.S.
People all over the world eat different foods from us. There are those in India that will NOT eat cow meat. They, however unlike some like you, do not go around belittling or looking down on the diet of folks from other countries. Seen how FAT Americans are comparatively speaking? I wouldn't brag about our country's preferred diet.
It is called tolerance, and good manners.
    Get some babe.

Where lies the power word "united?" that bond everyone in this country together regardless of race, religion and skin color. This is the United State, and people should stop making sarcastic comment instead of focusing on the topic of discussion.
