Rush Limbaugh on Bane, Bain and 'Dark Knight Rises'

(CNN) - An early trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" highlights a plot point that references a timely societal issue: a tension between the haves and the have-nots.

Anne Hathaway's Selina Kyle tells Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne in the clip, "You think this can last. There's a storm coming, Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better batten down the hatches. 'Cause when it hits, you're all going to wonder how you ever thought you could live so large, and leave so little for the rest of us."

College drugster Rush flunked everything and he is now in charge of the republican party. Thanks to Mittens and Bain investing in Clear Channel.

The BANE character has been around for nearly 20 years! fat druggie is an idiot! He is providing great publicity for Dark Knight however, and the actors & studio thank him! The more he squacks, the more $$$ the movie will pull in!

See this simple story shows why liberals cannot maintain a decent radio program. They simply don't know how to have a little fun while covering the headlines. He shows a little light side and the liberals go wild. I guess to liberials Rush is like Obama is to consertatives. He just plucks their last nerve. Unlike Rush, Obama's stupid thoughts and actions actually hurt people while Rush is harmless. Maybe soon Obama will be nothing more than a radio host too!

  10. Batman--It's a Rush

I am sure if a critic says they got a rush seeing the movie, Limbaugh will somehow take that personal.

Hey, Rush, did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, everything is not about you or political rants and ravings?

Oooooo I love a good conspiracy. The character has been in comic book existence for quite some time. Just a coincidence that Bain is something to be afraid of from a GOP perspective. But all this time Willard was telling us that Bain was the reason why he should be President...now Bain is a figurative 4 letter word according to the GOP puppet master. Too bad, so sad. Poor old Rush doesn't get that Bain will be the bane of Willard's failed campaign. When art imitates life, it's a beautiful thing. For the sane population, it's the light of a new day when the dark night rises over the GOP.

Indeed. He's more like TwoFace. Flippity Floppity Mittster's on his waaaaaaay.....

Besides, everyone knows that Bane is hispanic (real name Antonio Diego), which is what's really driving The Bloviator's hissy fit.

Rush cracks me up everytime he opens his big mouth. I really hope this guy sticks around for a long, long time. He is the personification of what's wrong with America. Other than Congress, of course......:)

The villian in the next Batman movie should be called "Bloated Windbag" so Rush will believe it's an attack upon himself.

We have Jon Stewart adn Bill Mahar, and the righties go wild, screaming about them being unfair. The difference is that the GOP all take their talking points from a drug-addicted college droput and failed DJ, while we take ours from people like Stewart( Ivy league). Big difference, Junior. Please don't bother with the declarations about how many people listen to Rush vs Stewart, since those hours spent praying to the radio for instructions are hours lost to the nation. As usual, liberals are working while righties pray for guidance to a babbling slob. Final point: its a movie. Grow up.

when Republicans start losing an arguement or are afraid they are about to, then they go to the number one weapon they have.....FEAR!! The name calling, themes of conspire, outright lies, and let's face it downright STUPID crap works for their base. Right now the far right is clinging to their guns and religion and have their ears glued to Rush and Beck with the tv on FoxNews to try find the way to "take their country back!!"

Rush said if President Obama won the 2008 election he would move out of the U.S., it must have been the drugs(oxy) talking because he's still here talking crazier than ever. The drugs have blown Rush up like a beached whale.

"If you are CEO, sole owner and chairman of the board, you are responsible for the actions of your company. If not, why was he paid 100K /yr?"

    Brass tacks:

Mittens wanted to run for governor in MA and knew it and planned on leveraging the Olympics thing to do it. When he left MA in 1999 to live in Utah and deal withthe Olympics, taking in tons of federal money to help him "save" the Olympics and then pretending it was all his doing, he needed to create a pathway to claiming that he maintained sufficient ties and connections to MA to be placed on the ballot. Part of doing that was listing himself as all those Bane-related positions in his SEC statements. This enabled him, when he testified before the Ballot Law Commission in MA, to base his ties and cconnections to MA partly on having continued to be a Bain bigshot and having attended board meetings in MA, etc. This is literally what he said in his testimony. Now that it has become inconvenient for him to have those ties and connections to Bane, he is disavowing them and pretending it was all no big deal. What we have is another situation where he either lied back then (and it was maybe a crime to perjure himself that way before the Ballot Law Commission) OR he was telling the truth back then and is lying now in order to make the argument that is currently convenient.

In 2008 137 million people voted
In 2010 97 million people voted
ALL conservatives went to the polls so we know how many there will be in November
Care to figure out who the remaining 40 million will vote for?

Don't forget how many people turned 18 within the past 2 years...........

    Keep these facts in mind!

If you elect Mitt Romney, Rush Limbaugh will be the think tank behind administration policy. If you doubt it, then explain why every single Republican, including Mitt Romney and the rest of the clown show, is beholden to Limbaugh.
