Mitt Romney responds to Colorado shooting

(CNN) - Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney issued the following statement responding to Friday's shooting in Colorado.

At least 12 people were killed and 50 wounded when a gunman opened fire during an early Friday morning screening of the new Batman movie at an Aurora, Colorado, theater, a police official told reporters.

“Ann and I are deeply saddened by the news of the senseless violence that took the lives of 15 people in Colorado and injured dozens more. We are praying for the families and loved ones of the victims during this time of deep shock and immense grief. We expect that the person responsible for this terrible crime will be quickly brought to justice.”

A brief and canned response. No real warmth. Best response was that of President Obama who is in touch with this American tragedy that effects us all. Romney is out of touch and robotic.

The NRA cares nothing about our rights and safety, no more than the tobacco industry does. All they want is our money and will do anything to get it regardless how many innocent people have to die.

Did they forget to print the part of his statement where he placates the NRA by saying that the incident could have been avoided if everybody in the theater, including the children, had been carrying a gun? That is the "Conservatives'" response to all these tragedies anyway, isn't it?

There is no quick justice in this country, but there will be justice. Be happy with that.

Romney doesn't believe in America. He believes in Illuminati – to serve the will of the corporation.
