(CNN) – Documents filed with the Federal Election Commission Friday show President Barack Obama's presidential campaign raised $46 million in June and spent $58 million.
Meanwhile, his Republican challenger Mitt Romney brought in $33 million through his campaign, and spent $27.5 million. The Republican candidate's spending last month was nearly doubled from in May, when his campaign spent just over $15 million.

The filings from Friday indicated that the Romney campaign finished June with $22.5 million cash on hand, while Obama's campaign had $97.5 million in the bank.
Earlier this month both organizations released their joint fund-raising numbers with their respective party committees. Those figures showed the Republicans bringing in approximately $100 million, compared to the $71 million raised by Obama and the Democrats.

Looks like the Repubs are not going to be able to buy this one. Even thought the conservative majority in the SC wanted them to have that ability. I'm glad Scalia's court decision is backfiring on him, kudos to the American public who can see right through guys like him, Clarence(the pervert) Thomas, and his other buddies.
Romney should not show any more tax returns until Obama release his college transcripts. Democrats think that Romney is hiding something because he has not yet released more of his tax returns. Then pray tell me, what are they hiding when Obama has his transcripts sealed and will not release them. A fair exhange is a good gain. if you want something you have to give something back in return. Unseal those transcripts and Romney will release his tax returns.

Romney is spending LESS from his campaign because he is allowing his hidden PACs to spend more on his behalf because the lying behind all of those ads he is HOPING works better than the ads he would have to state "I'm Mitt Romney and I approve this message..."!! PahLeeeeezzzzeeee!!!

Obama spending twice as much as Romney, and still it's a dead heat! After the convention, Romney will be able to spend the money he's been raising, and if the economy hasn't improved substantially, Obama will lose.
