On Twitter, a curious spike for Romney

(CNN) - Either Mitt Romney got really popular last weekend, or something funky was going on with his Twitter feed.

The Republican presidential nominee's account on the site, which had been gaining followers at a clip of about 3,000 to 4,000 a day, appears to have gained more than 116,000 followers Friday and another 24,000 on Saturday.

"The American population / voters see the Democrats in Congress, president Obama, the Obama administration as a complete FAILURE. "

Is that why the GOP/Teatrolls in congress have a lower approval rating than the Dems in Congress and score lower in polls for which party would better handle the economy? Is that why Obama is leading in almost every poll over Mittens except for, you guess it, Rasmussen?

Mitt Romney is nothing more than a salesman. If you understand salesmen, the you understand Mitt Romney with all of his flip-flops, telling audiences what they want to hear, and of course, the ability to deny ever making one mistake in his entire life.

Well it's obvious you don't understand salesman. Making such a general dumb general remark.

The second you use a sentence like "I pray the country has enough intelligence to stop the bankrupting of the country from the Social Democratic experiment that has failed miserably", you identify yourself as just another "illinformed zombie" for the other side.

The spike is just probably due to independent voters wanting to know more about the candidate Romney or trying to get a better idea of who he is. No big deal.

Obama is nothing more than a snake oil salesman. If you understand snake oil salesmen, then you understand Obama with all of his lies and misdirection, telling audiences what they want to hear, and of course, the ability to deny ever making one mistake in his entire life.

Obama losing to Romney 47-46 in latest CBS/NYT poll (last week). Left wing organizations. Nice try though. Got anymore easily debunked lies/myths?

"telling audiences what they want to hear"

More psychological projection from the GOPers/Teatrolls? Give it a rest, dude. It's the most transparent thing in DC at this point: the "I know you are but what am I?" playground politics of Deputy Doublethink and the GOP/Teatrolls.

"Romney wants to do the same as Bush, massive defense increases combined with costly tax cuts."

That's because they are working as intended. The whole plan was to create the deficits and debt that would allow the GOP/Teatrolls to justify their demands for the dismantling of the social safety net.

What's wrong with it? I'm not talking about the guy at the car dealership. He's small ball.

I'm talking about corporate salesmen. I'm talking about the ones who have the talent to tell the truth, yet lie to you at the same time, all while wearing a smile on their happy faces. It is generally accepted fact, completely unknown to salesmen, that most salesmen are idiots. The best idiots, I mean salesmen, are egotistical about it. Ever hear them tell stories about their adventures in the field, "Sales Wars"?

I know a salesman when I see one. Mitt Romney is a salesman.

After analysis of the current polls in each state, it is very possible that Romney could win the popular vote but lose the electoral vote fairly badly. He is ahead nationally or at least in a dead tie due to massive leads in several red states. However, he is losing by a small margin in just about all of the swing states. If things were to stay as they are now (of course not likely) Romney would win the popular vote but get slaughtered in the electoral vote. I would be interested to see how the Republicans would handle such an event after they benefited from the same thing in 2000. Could be fun.

I think the spike comes from debating! U media guys never cease to amaze me! The president has way more. Romney will lose this election when the debates start,he will never answer a question directly it will be like pleading the fifth!
