(CNN) - Either Mitt Romney got really popular last weekend, or something funky was going on with his Twitter feed.
The Republican presidential nominee's account on the site, which had been gaining followers at a clip of about 3,000 to 4,000 a day, appears to have gained more than 116,000 followers Friday and another 24,000 on Saturday.

Most likely the mittens camp created a bunch of fake profiles. That or they've hacked into the twitter accounts of a bunch of Americans in order to falsely inflate his numbers.

The premis of this piece is that romney's campaign can't possibly have that much interest. Something must be wrong with these numbers. Perhaps that is true but maybe people are starting to tune in to the candidate out of frustration with the current condition of the country and the complete incompetance of President Obama to offer any real solutions.
A spike in followers for Romney on Twitter, it goes with the spike in voter who support Romney. The American population / voters see the Democrats in Congress, president Obama, the Obama administration as a complete FAILURE. The Democrats / liberals didn’t see the 2010 Republican landslide win coming and Democrats / liberals don’t see the 2012 landslide Republican win coming.
The 1984 Reagan v. Mondale election will look close compared to the landslide Republican win over Democrats in 2012.

The seats GOPTees won in 2010 was a great way for people to see how bitter and weak the GOP and their narrow minded coonservative ideology is. The truth shall set all Americans free. Knowledge and facts are the GOP's biggest enemy, that's why they consantly demonize educated, intelligent, and experianced people.
Is this really important? Twitter is just a way of getting your point of view out there. It could also be those that are looking for flaws and misstatements that could be used against him. It would be like what Webb had with Allen and the "mcacaw" comment.
Mitt Romney is nothing more than a salesman. If you understand salesmen, the you understand Mitt Romney with all of his flip-flops, telling audiences what they want to hear, and of course, the ability to deny ever making one mistake in his entire life.
What's so hard to figure out about this? The checks cleared. Some PAC created a turdload of new accounts to inflate his Twitter account follower numbers. It's not like this is rocket science. Mittens will now come out at some point claiming there's been a massive grassroots upsurge in support for him. Watch.

Un-informed afraid & angry old people don't use twitter. So the question is how or who did Romoney buy to get the spike?
Morris is expecting Romney to win all swing states....this is the first I have seen of such predictions.
Maybe everybody signing up as Romney goes overseas? Who knows? Are people actually watching and monitoring this sort of stuff? If so, maybe they need to get a real job or a life?

What policies have the Obama administration enacted that have caused this "failure" that you cite?
1. Has the Obama administration raised taxes? No, he's actually cut them for the middle class.
2. Has the Obama administration increased spending? Only by 1.4%, which is less than inflation.
In other words, the Obama administration has pretty much been on the same economic path as the previous administration, except for the increased spending, of course. Bush increased it by at least 7% each year. Romney wants to do the same as Bush, massive defense increases combined with costly tax cuts.
