Obama signs U.S.-Israel security act on eve of Romney trip

Washington (CNN) – The day before Mitt Romney makes a highly publicized trip to Israel, President Barack Obama on Friday signed a bill passed by Congress designed to increase security ties with the Jewish state.

Both the timing of Friday's event and the presence of TV cameras opened the White House to accusations of political maneuvering in a presidential election year.

Since you referred to Netanyahu as a quasi-fascist, I wonder what your thoughts on the POTUS militarily and financially supporting a fascist by virtue of his signature on this bill?

Don't worry folks, as far as the GOP is concerned, Mr. Obama is still selling Israel out- just move along now....Mr. Romney has foreigners he needs to relieve of their money.

How much is this trip costing us? Or could it be he is finding a new hiding spot for his money in Israel.

Is Romney now the Republicans Palin?
    -----------------
    No.
Sarah Palin, alas, is leaps and bounds ahead of this twit. God did I just say that?!
She may have spoken in word salads doggone it, but they were HER word salads not her puppet masters. Ormaybe they were her puppet masters but she had conviction....oh who knows, all I know is that MItt sucks worse than Flailin Palin which is probably why McCain picked HER over HIM to be his V.P.
Can you imagine making that choice?!!

No, he's worse. Some were willing to look over her Palin's ignorance because she was new to the national stage. Willard on the other hand, was born with ALL the advantages possible and somehow (even after 20 years), he STILL can't close the deal. Can you say "slow learner"?

I'm not really all that "for" giving funds to anyone whose not Amurikan when need is rampant right here at home, but I recognize that there are some necessary evils in the world. Personally, I see no reason for not also helping with conditions in the Palestinian community either...both in terms of defense against Israel's love of blatantly overreacting to the homeade missles with tanks and destruction of property and infrastructure, etc., and its abuse of its control over the resources in those areas, like water and electricity and the goods and proucts that make it in. I also think Israel needs to cut the crap with their expansionist policies that only serve to inflame the entire mess....and that removal or at least cessation of all expansionist activity should be a precondition for receiving our aid.
