(CNN) - Sen. Marco Rubio delivered a speech by telephone Saturday after his plane made an "emergency landing" in Albuquerque, New Mexico, preventing him from physically making it to a Mitt Romney rally in Des Moines, Iowa.
"Not one, but two planes I was on today had malfunctions," Rubio tweeted. "Second one forced to make emergency landing in New Mexico. I know how to take a hint!"
Update: The campaign said Sunday it will now allow the press to cover Romney's remarks at the fund-raiser, but reporters will be escorted out before he takes questions from the audience.
(CNN) - Mitt Romney's presidential campaign will not allow reporters to cover the candidate's Monday fund-raiser in Jerusalem, a campaign aide said Saturday.
That decision is a change in practice from an agreement the campaign and media outlets, including CNN, reached with the campaign last spring.
Tel Aviv, Israel (CNN) - In the latest leg of what’s become a high stakes overseas tour, Mitt Romney arrived in Israel late Saturday night to address the issue of Iran – or, as one of his aides described it, “the biggest foreign policy challenge the world faces.”

(CNN) - President Obama and presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney will not hold events Saturday. Romney will fly from London to Tel Aviv to begin the second leg of his three country tour. Meanwhile, Romney surrogates will campaign for the Republican candidate on American soil. First lady Michelle Obama will continue her visit to London on Saturday and plans attend a few Olympic events to cheer on Team USA.
