Romney announces Polish American group

(CNN) - In the wake of his visit to Poland, Mitt Romney on Tuesday announced he was forming Polish Americans for Romney.

"Polish Americans share the love of individual liberty that makes our country exceptional, prosperous, and free," Romney said in a statement announcing the group shortly after he departed Poland following a two-day trip. "This community has made tremendous contributions to America spanning business, science, and more."

The statement said former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty - who is of Polish and German ancestry - is among the group's co-chairs. Pawlenty was a former candidate for the Republican presidential nomination and has been suggested as a possible vice presidential pick for Romney - although Pawlenty has refused to discuss the process.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Rep. Dan Benishek of Michigan, both of Polish descent, will also co-chair the group.

Romney visited Poland as part of a foreign trip which also took him to London and Israel over the last week.

In Warsaw on Tuesday, he said the U.S. draws inspiration from the people of Poland.

"Our nations belong to the great fellowship of democracies," Romney said. "We speak the same language of freedom and justice. We uphold the right of every person to live in peace. I believe it is critical to stand by those who have stood by America. Solidarity was a great movement that freed a nation. And it is with solidarity that America and Poland face the future."

Romney also landed well-wishes from Polish Solidarity movement leader Lech Walesa, who met with the candidate on Monday and was a founder of the first noncommunist government in the former Soviet bloc.

"Wait, African-American, Polish-American,Puerto Rican-American, Cuban-American, Mexican-American, Canadian-American, etc.... wow, a lot of hyphenated people. I think America has already been splitting with Obama for awhile, anti-gay, pro-gay, anti-abortion, pro-abortion, anti-rich, etc..... Seems to me Obama has done a good job getting us split."

BULLSH....it's the GOP/TEatrolls who have been enacting legislation on these issues, not Obama and the Dems. Gay marriage bans, bans and attempts to make it harder to get abortions, personahood amendments, Voter ID laws, redistricting to decrease the effect of growing minority populations, attacks on union rights, hearings in Conrgess attempting to shwo that all muslims are out to get us, defunding Planned Parenthood, trying to allow employers to tell their employees whether they can have insurance for contraception...the list is endless. AND NOT ONCE HAVE THEY ATTEMPTED TO PASS A JOBS BILL. And notice: all the crap I just listed is about taking away or attenuating peoples' rights...from the party that likes to claim its the last great defender of 'freedom'.

News reports are that Obama already has the plans for it. Planes have been moved over, two aircraft carriers over there, etc. I guess when Obama does it you'll call it necessary and justified. But if Presdient Romney does it, it will war mongering.

Mittler is now BFF's with some of those Euro socialists he always bad mouths. You know, people with health care? Trade unionists, for chrissakes! He's photographed smiling and shaking hands with people who are virtual commies, and I don't hear a peep out of the tightie righties. The teabaggers should be all over this one, but I don't even hear them making Polish jokes. What's wrong? Everybody on the right asleep?

Wakeup People, Israel and the Jewish people in America support President Obama and as long as they do President Obama will be the next President of the United States whether you like it or not. That Mountain is too tall for Romney to climb over.

Hey, Mitt, what did the tax audits turn up? Did you have to pay any additional taxes after you had filed your returns? Did you try to use one too many deductions like the $77,000 one for your horse. You do realize that your tax deduction for your horse was a good bit more than the average Amercian wage for an entire year, don't you?

Next thing you know, Mittler will say he likes French fries! He'll join the Union of the Super Rich. His favorite author will be Karl Marx. He'll buy his wife a pink Caddy.

I don't blame Romney for trying to make it look that the media has it in for him. He's deathly afraid of something, and I suspect it's his tax returns, which he's stonewalling. What could it be? He acknowledged that he's been audited "several" times. What did they find he doesn't want us to know? Did he end up having to pay a lot more than he'd originally filed? Did he pay a penalty, a fine? He wouldn't want us to know about that. Or it could be that it would show how he loaded his IRA or family trust with undervalued assets; its hard to see how either could have grown to 100 million any other way. Whatever it is, it must be bad, or he wouldn't be so adamant about keeping them secret. And we should be just as determined to find out: we deserve to know and we need to know.

Two Polish hunters stumble upon a set of tracks. The first hunter says, "Look! Deer tracks!" The second hunter kneels down, examines the tracks more closely, then concludes, "No, you're wrong. These are moose tracks."

The first hunter is visibly annoyed. "How can you call these moose tracks?!" he shouts. "These tracks were clearly left by a deer! A pregnant female, if I'm not mistaken."

"You can't tell if she's pregnant just from the tracks!" snaps the second hunter. "Besides, it's a moose! And it's not pregnant!"

"You can so tell if she's pregnant," replies the first. "The tracks are deeper in the ground because she's heavier."

"You're nuts!" yells the second. "Any experienced hunter will tell you that these tracks were made by a non-pregnant male moose!"

The two hunters continued arguing long into into the night. They relentlessly debated until the train ran over them.

Why not have one group called whites for Romney? That will save a lot of time considering all of the countries in Europe.

The American People want to see mitt's tax returns for the past 20 years. We also want to know how many jobs he off-shored. And how much of those profits are sitting in off-shore account evading taxes.

Mitt was so afraid of any more questions about his tax returns, he had to fly to Europe. Like the old saying goes, if you can't stand the heat....

Romney = Bush 3 and that equates to another total economic collapse for this country.

ROMNEY IS FORMING THE GROUP???? I thought supporters formed a group based on liking the guy.
Maybe Obama should form a group of white old men with their heads up their butts for Obama- they can just call it the GOP. I'll bet their would be poeple that would see it as an endorsement and vote for him.
