Romney trip may not matter much to voters in November

Washington (CNN) - Mitt Romney's high-profile trip to England, Israel and Poland featured cheering crowds, iconic settings and forceful speeches, but may be remembered more for diplomatic gaffes.

Whether any of it will matter when American voters choose between Romney and President Barack Obama three months from now is less clear.

Maybe Romney should have bowed :) in deference that would've been better. Media's in full attack mode ok. Go get 'em. Let's see what bumbling Romney does this week. It's sad that we need caricatures to help inform or reinforce our prejudices. Let's face it, Republicans aren't very respected these days in public and its a shame because Romney is one of 'em and seems from what little we've seen of him that he's fine on the world stage. A debate ie. on whether he was out of place stating his observation on the security condition of the Olympics? At least we know that he publicly put the security of a nation ahead of his appearance and THAT is a cool quality, and you can see a genuine stance. So, if that's a gaffe, I'll take it and if I see more of him this way, I'll vote him in.

Romney went on a trip to showcase his foreign policy expertise, only to return looking like he is dazed and unsure of himself. "You people" of the media almost hyped something that never was. Romney's only leading a Mormon uprising and not an American leadership.

His behavior and comments just reinforces my personal view that he is not the right person to be president of the US.

Seriously, I cannot believe that even the republicans would support this "character" of a man. He was a massive mess overseas, you can't believe a word he says because he continues to pander to whatever crowd he is speaking to. He speaks in generalities because he doesn't seem to even have a sense of what his so called policies would be on anything. "lower taxes, less regulation, more freedom". Wow!! How in the world would he be able to handle being the leader of the free world? Not to mention there has got to be something in those taxes he doesn't want any of us to see. Rumor has it he has not paid ANY taxes for 10 years. I'd say that hits the nail on the head. Can you imagine this guy as president?? It's a scary thought.

I wonder how many US voters recognised before reading that Romney was standing in front of 10 Downing street, The UK prime ministers residence, how many could name PM Cameron and whether Cameron is closest to Republican style policies or not!?
His " high profile trip" has been a "high profile disaster"

Romney trip may not matter much to voters in November…
Only to the very short sighted and the …we will do anything to make Obama a one term President… nothing will matter as long as they can vote against the President.
But for everyone that knows that the American economy is also dependent on global markets for success needing good international relationships it will matter a lot. Romney and the GOP / Tea-Party Congress and Senate have shown so many deficits in ALL areas that “believing” in them to take care of the countries “business” is more than careless and shows real stupidity! Unless you among the 0.5% of the rich...

MyLewis makes his point>>>> " I doubt I'll be thinking" then outlines a proven wingnut Democrat conspiracy.

Up next, is Obama's birth certificate a cover up of time travelling space aliens employed by liberal communists?

    Stay tuned, Tea Time.

If economy and jobs are your concern then you should be smart enough to know that the congress, and in particular republicans, have been doing everything they can to make it appear as the fault of Obama. I am upper 1%, but I am a true patriot and I support what is best for America not the few that are at my level. Get a brain and become a true supporter of your country and all American citiizens.

A vote for Romney is a vote for Norquist's sock puppet.
