Obama's Olympic fever

(CNN)–Like millions of people around the world, President Obama is avidly following the Olympic Games in London.

Mixing politics and sports in the battleground state of Ohio on Wednesday, the president told supporters at a campaign rally in Mansfield to "give it up for all our outstanding American athletes" competing in the international games.

Well, let's see if we can find something wrong with this story shall we? After all, he's not American enough to even care about sports and he is from Kenya right?
Keep up the good work Mr. President of cheering for ALL Americans and not just the popular ones like Willard.

The President loves sports of all kinds and keeps up with whats going on. Someone will probally say something really nasty and hateful im sure. I'll have to check the posts later an re-view them to see the ignorance and racist remarks they will make. Why they come here is odd to me. If I don't like something I stay wawy from it. LOL....See ya Later !

Many in "that large group of friends" were attendees at a London fund raiser. People were actually giving millions to Obama, not the other way around.

Did it ever occur to Obama that he should spend some time on the problems of America?
Really there is more going on besides basketball, golf, fund raising and such events where he seems to spend most of his time.

Would it not be nice if he just as avidly followed the recommendations of his debt reduction committee? Or maybe have Michelle and her friends at home rather than spending the taxpayer money, but that would be a lot of change for this failed president, the worst in history.

I do love the photo of him on the phone scheduling a tee time for next week.

As a former high school and college athlete I too am following the olympics with more than avid interest. I think any ex-, current, or aspiring athlete watches the olympics with a different eye and heart. It may be fair to say that we see ourselves in these athletes, remnisce about abilities long gone, and possibly our own unfulfilled dreams. We experience their defeats a little deeper, and rejoice in their victories in a way that only someone that has been a competitive athlete can experience.
It matters not the sport. The feeling we get watching these athletes, the best of the best, compete is quite indescribable, exquisite and unique.
Go Team USA!! Success to ALL of our athletes!!

"Obama attacks Romney over tax policies"

Good, because the corresponding headlline shouuld have been: "Romney attacks Middle-Class WITH Tax Policies."

"such events where he seems to spend most of his time."

Have no doubt that the "seeming" is a direct result of the purposeful choice the MSM makes as to what it bothers to actually report on, not because he's spending 30 hours a week on the golf course and 20 watching basketball highlights. The blather from you people who like to pretend he's doing nothing other than that is really fairly pathetic, particularly in light of the fact that whatever he does try to do, the GOP/Teatrolls in Conrgess try to obstruct and cause to fail anyway. Grow up.
