(CNN) - House Republicans have been forced to close a potential loophole on their much-touted insider trading law - a loophole CNN uncovered and reported about last month.
Because of CNN's report, the Senate and House passed new legislation Thursday to close the loophole that could have allowed family members of some lawmakers to profit from inside information.

Republicans were caught on this one. They did not do their homework and CNN found the error for them. What would have happened if CNN did report this error? Family members could have made out very well.

Good, no one should be able to profit from insider information, especially not our elected officials.
The Do Nothing House can vote on everything except what will help our country. They set up committees to investigate other committees, they name post offices, they vote 35 times to repeal health care, they vote for 110 abortion bills, they named a post office. Then they take another vacation.
