Obama wants Florida win for birthday present

Winter Park, Florida (CNN) - Buoyed by a recent poll indicating a 6-point lead in the crucial swing state of Florida, President Obama addressed an enthusiastic crowd in the Orlando suburb of Winter Park while making a particular birthday request only two days before he turns 51.

“Winning Florida wouldn't be a bad birthday present,” he declared, joking that when he blows out candles on his cake, “my wish will have something to do with electoral votes.”

Nate shows that you have a 54% of getting your wish, at least as of today.

Obama may be ahead but he is not going to win Florida. I have been all over the state and with the economy in the tank mostly due to his incompetence its not going to be there. It will be tight but he will lose.

It would be cheaper and better for American if we gave Obama a retirement/vacation home in Florida ... one that he would be forced to use after November.

Here's what I see, Rollins college ( yes I went there, home of the snobs), Winter Park (city of the snobs) and Obama goes there to hold his event. I think that voters fail to accept that Obama likes money, this is a guy who also spend his life attending a private school for the elite, rich, lived with his grandmother who was a Vice President of The Bank of Hawaii, had money in school to buy drugs, never worked as a high school kid or in college or even after college, has worn top clothing in all his school pictures and at some point decides to attend Harvard and is able to pay tuition and his mother worked for banks. Bottom line, Obama is an elite who like people to think he is not an elite who very much like money.

"Nate shows that you have a 54% of getting your wish, at least as of today."

Indeed. The most likely scenario according to the number right now...by FAR...is Obama walking away with 330. I guess the GOP/Teatrolls should have focused on trying to find a way to suppress electoral votes too, not just minority votes, eh?

A Florida win for Obama would have to be a birthday present. Because he sure didn't earn it.

Why shou;dn't he go there? Willards been doing that the entire campaign. Please give me one example where this is any different. Of course you'd prefer Obama not campaign but this IS a critical election year and it's GREAT to see that most Americans have the intellegence to weed out the GOP shill's nuisance noise. It's so said that we also have Amerikant's that still don't get that the GOP is leaading the lemmings back to slaughter.

What is he promising Florida? So far, he has spent billions of tax payers dollars to buy all minority votes, promising college students a free education, giving illegal aliens amnesty, unemployment for everyone for life. Guess he has promised Florida to pay all their debt forever so they don't have to worry about balancing a budget. If this man is reelected he will sign an Executive Order giving himself the Presidency for life.

  18. lies from obama (and mabye his father)

The only reason that Obama is ahead in the polls is because he is more likable. My cat could beat him at monoply, but he is more likeable than Mitt because Romney is rich and that's a bad thing evidentialy.
