(CNN) - A television ad released Thursday from presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney highlights a stalling economy in Florida, pinning the blame on President Barack Obama.
Obama heads to Florida Thursday for a campaign stop in Orlando.

"Four years ago, Barack Obama was concerned about Florida's economy," the narrator in the ad begins.
She continues, "But under President Obama, 8.6% unemployment. Record foreclosures. Six hundred thousand more Floridians in poverty. He focused on Obamacare instead of jobs. Barack Obama: what a disappointment."
Florida – currently rated a "Toss Up" on CNN's Electoral Map – carries 29 electoral votes in November's election. The state has been hard hit by a weak housing market, and its economy is growing at a slow rate.
Its unemployment rate of 8.6% is higher than the national average, but is lower than a high of 11.4% in 2010.
In responding to criticisms of his handling of the economy, Obama's campaign has pointed out that jobs losses slowed nationally after he came into office in January 2009.

Last I saw Obama had a pretty good lead on Romney in Florida so he must be doing something right.
Not long ago, Republicans were telling Florida's governor to stop talking about how good the economy was there.

It seems its all he knows how to do. How about some ideas of your own, Mitt?
Did he send a warning letter to Gov. Rick Scott? I mean, last time Rick Scott was out and about saying how great the FL economy is recovering and claiming it was all his own doing (not Obama's of course), Mittens had to send him a letter asking him to not say such things because it was so important for Mittens to be able to claim that the FL economy is terrible and that it's all Obama's fault. Scott then told him to go pound sand because it's so important for Scott to be able to claim that it's peachy and all his doing. It's things like this that really highlight that the GOP/Teatrolls are so desperate to construct their own reality bubbles that they've painted themselves into a corner.
And Willard M. Romney HELPED Floridians by putting his money in other countries and placing his tax burden on US the REAL U.S. taxpayers.
It is very clear Oblunder cannot lead in any way shape or form, His new slogan its not my fault should work. This inept community fundraiser has all but destroyed this country. Gee lets not put in a proven success like Romey, if you want more welfare ,more gov spending, higher taxes and no future than stay with Oblameo. Why not give Mitt a chance ??? At least he can read.
But Mitt.......you just praised the economy in Poland where the unemployment rate is 12%. What up with that?

of course! companies pared down to their staff and then stopped. do cluless leftists think companies will lay the entire company off??? btw, the recession technically ended over 3 years ago, practically before obama and the democrats even did anything. but he we are 3 years later and the only reason the unemployment rate is lower is that millions have stopped looking for jobs. yes, quite the obama accomplishment. how many more can he drive from the work force with another 4 years?

Of cause 8.6% unemployment is not what we want! But slowly the economy is GROWING! Anyone remember what it looked like under GOP “leadership”? Right! And I do not want to know what it would be under a Romney Administration – 8.6 would be wonderful! We see how “effective” the GOP/TP is despite their battle cay of JOBS, JOBS, JOBS in 2010! Why is unemployment the Presidents fault but healthcare is a states issue? Congress ( correction- The House) has several proposed jobs bills it will not vote on becuase they might do some good and help the President.
