Republicans want personal e-mail accounts of White House staffers

Washington (CNN) – House Republicans demanded on Friday that the Obama administration identify White House staffers' personal e-mail addresses which may have been used to conduct government business, a request an Obama spokesman is calling "nakedly political."

The request, from House Committee and Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa, R-California, follows a congressional committee report earlier this week that found some senior White House officials had exchanged e-mails with lobbyists and other interested parties during the drafting of the health care law in 2010 using their personal email accounts.

Much like the democrats demanded Sarah Palin's personal email. The Washington Post sent 7 reporters to Alaska to review all fo Sarah Palin's personal emails. The NY Times invited bloggers to "help them" go through the thousands of personal emails between Sarah Palin and her family members. The media sued to get her personal email. I wonder how the media will handle personal emails now?

If they want to dig into this they better look into their own party first. The quitter gov of Alaska used them and they were not investigated – the GOP Presidential hopeful used them while he was in office as well. The current GOP in office are an embarrasement.

And just how will the GOP use this to create jobs? Since that is their main focus, right?

"Democrats raised similar concerns in 2007 when it was revealed then-Bush aide Karl Rove had extensively used a Republican National Committee e-mail account and that several of Rove’s e-mails from that account had gone missing. At that time, Issa called a Democrat-led investigation into the matter “shameful.”"

I think that pretty much sums this all up right there. Moving on...

Why am I not surprised that Issa is involved? How about we request Romney's tax returns ... or how about Romney's governmental emails from when he governor? Oh, I forgot, Romney made sure none of this exists by buying up the hard drives for permanent destruction. Yet no one seems to be concerned with this blatant lack of integrity.

What were they hiding? Curious voters want to know. Expect the same level of cooperation the Obama Administration has been consistent with. He will invoke Executive Privilege once they start pulling up Union Boss emails.

What about the Obama administration go back to his (Darrel issa) old day. Why the don't talk about the future of U.S.

The White House should say fine but we want to see Boehners and Cantors and Issa's emails too. Or did they learn from Romney to delete everything, before you make accusations. The House Republicans are the biggest bunch of slime-balls in this country!
