Republicans want personal e-mail accounts of White House staffers

Washington (CNN) – House Republicans demanded on Friday that the Obama administration identify White House staffers' personal e-mail addresses which may have been used to conduct government business, a request an Obama spokesman is calling "nakedly political."

The request, from House Committee and Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa, R-California, follows a congressional committee report earlier this week that found some senior White House officials had exchanged e-mails with lobbyists and other interested parties during the drafting of the health care law in 2010 using their personal email accounts.

Was the same rule applied to GW Bush's staff?
    Why now?
First show us Romney's taxes, then we'll talk.

Wait.. wait.. these are PERSONAL email accounts? um, sorry dude... Issa is gonna have to take his witch hunt somewhere else.

And we want Romoney's taxes. If you can't produce your taxes, why should we believe you can produce 12 million jobs.

And I would like a full report on why Darrell Issa is still cashing his Congressional payroll checks after doing SQUAT the last three years... I think he's a bit unhinged – – he's never recovered from not getting the California Governorship dropped in his lap after he had Grey Davis lynched He's just a bitter little man.

i want see romney taxes returns and birth certificate

Mitt Romney's repeated claim that he played no part in executive decision-making related to Bain Capital after 1999 is false, according to Romney's own testimony in June 2002, in which he admitted to sitting on the board of the LifeLike Co., a dollmaker that was a Bain investment during the period.

Well they all can't be winners! mitt?

A vote for Mittens certainly will send this great country tumbling further down the cliff. God forbid!!!!!!!!!!

No amount of artificial demands is going to distract form the real problem: Romney uses these tactics to distract voters from his past and present potentially criminal activities. Romney and cronnies have no right to ask for anything until he publishes his governor years e-mails, yes, the ones destroyed for possible political liability AND the tax returns. Or are the rules only for Democrats and 'little" people?

House Republicans are nothing more than domestic terrorists. They've done nothing but work political angles and publish Tea Party nonsense. They absolutely want our government to fail – just like the Taliban!

  21. enuff Not unless republicans want complete access to all personal email accounts, including Romneys. But then, he doesn't have to disclose his taxes, so I suppose he could just refuse and be able to walk away without any recourse for the American "you" people.

This is just ridiculous, the GOP ran on jobs in 2010 and all they've done is block everything to get the economy going. These clowns think we the people are stupid, they just want to blame the president. The GOP acts as if they had nothing to do with the bad economy.
