(CNN) – The political puns won't stop.
After being labeled "Romney Hood" - Robin Hood in reverse - by the president Monday, presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney fired back with his own wordplay Tuesday, calling President Barack Obama's jab a bunch of "Obamaloney."

"He is serving up a dish that is in contradiction to the truth," Romney said in an interview with Fox News.
Romney's lunch meat rebuttal came the day after Obama, speaking at a campaign rally in Connecticut, railed against Romney's tax proposals, saying they amount to "Robin Hood in reverse."
"It's Romney Hood," the president added to loud applause from 500 supporters in a Stamford, Connecticut ballroom.
The comments were in reference to a recent report from the non-partisan Tax Policy Institute that claims Romney's tax proposals are likely to result in a net tax increase of $2,000 for middle-class wage earners while cutting hundreds of thousands of dollars from the tax bills of the country's most wealthy.
"He'd ask the middle class to pay more in taxes so he could give another $250,000 to those making more than $3 million a year," Obama also said at the event. The Romney campaign has disputed the study, arguing that the analysis was flawed because it did not account for additional revenue that would result from a reduction in the corporate tax rate - another part of the candidate's plan.
Romney spokesman Ryan Williams responded to the president's remarks in a statement Monday night, calling the attacks false.
"President Obama recently said the biggest regret of his first term was not telling better stories. He's trying to make up for it now, but his stories just aren't true," Williams wrote. "There's only one candidate in this race who's going to raise taxes on the American people – and that's Barack Obama. While he's used taxpayer dollars to grow government and reward his donors, middle-class Americans have seen fewer jobs, lower incomes, and less hope for the future. Mitt Romney has a plan for a stronger middle class – and, unlike President Obama, a record of accomplishment behind it."

Rudy, you are technically correct, there have been no tax increases. But, you leave out the fact that the deductions have changed, i.e. been reduced, which a normal person will see as a "tax increase."
Come on you and the other liberal schills on here, tell ALL the facts, or as Paul Harvey used to say, "the rest of the story."
If I were one of these Super-Pacs who are throwing hundreds of millions of dollars at Mitt Romney and the best he can come up with is "Obamaloney," I'd ask for an accounting ... or my money back.

Mitsy hid in France for almost three years, and recieved 4 deferments from the draft. That means at least 4 other people served in his place and may have died in his place, no comparision. You need to go back to school son! Congress is responsible for creating or changing the law and the last time I checked at least one of the chambers was controlled by Republicans that have no interest in closing loopholes. Also, I believe President Obama tried to get the tax breaks for the wealthiest discontinued but the Republicans would have none of it!

How in the world can Robmey have a tax deferred IRA with 100 million dollars in it, when the maximum annual contribution allowed is six thousand dollars? To acquire a 100 million dollar balance, Robmey must be really old?
Governor Romney is now hoping that people will believe everything he says and will not question anything. The truth is there are questions for Mr. Romney and he is not answering any of them. He has not quite told the whole story about his governorship. He lets people believe that he was in charge for the whole 4 years. It does not take a genius to figure out that the last two years he was running for President. Lt. Governor Healey was in charge.
Why hasn't he filed his 2011 Taxes. It is now August and they have not been filed. What is in his tax record that might be questionable. The longer he takes to file his 2011 tax returns and refuses to show any other tax records the more questions he will face.
His tax plan will not help us. Instead of fixing his plan he is blaming the independent agency that calculated the figures in his plan. His health plan was found to have flaws as well. The costs were not anticipated to be as high as they are. The plan also determines that those who carry the plan must purchase their drugs from CVS. So much for worrying about small businesses. Locally owned pharmacies are disappearing so fast.
People need to really delve into his plans and ideas to see just what he proposes. Unless people push hard Mr. Romney will leave us all in the dark. We just might wake up on the Wednesday after election day to discover that what we thought we knew about Mr. Romney is not the real truth.
I just wonder, how many of the comments are coming from the Obama campaign office in Chicago? Obama is the Piped Piper of Chicago, instead of a pipe he uses his rhetoric to have the American people follow his deception of " FOREWARD" like the one of "HOPE AND CHANGE". First of all Obama could have volunteered to serve in the military 30 years ago which would make him 21, he could have done it 15 years ago, people can volunteer to the military whether there is a war or not. Clinton worked for a Senator that got him excused, in exchange Clinton was to serve in the ROTC and never did. Try researching President Clinton next time.
