Campaign 2012: Smokescreen or outright lies

Washington (CNN) – The presidential campaigns are blowing smoke so thick that some voters are having a hard time peering through it.

But both are using a time-tested tactic in trying to define their opponents' weaknesses while distracting voters from their own, experts say.

    The ads coming from some of the PACs are outrageous. Even the US Chamber of Congress is involved with these ads. We cannot do anything about this. The PACs are free to do as they please.

    We, the American people, do have the opportunity to say not to this form of advertising. The more we respond to the offenders we are letting them know we will not accept what they are saying. Use your computer or phone to let your voice be heard. In some cases boycotts might work. The US Chamber of Commerce represents many, many businesses. They should be impartial and should be putting out ads that challenge the candidates and their campaigns. How about defining problems and issues for the candidates to address. Do not accept half-answers or anything less than a full answer from the candidate.

    What do Romney and Obama have in common? One trillion $$$ campaign, emotion, lies, rumors, and photo-ops. Did they forget there are real people out here with real problems? They both treat this like some game.

    As always they are plain out lies or half truths nothing new and to be expected by people who will not stick to what is important jobs and the economy.

    Grow up people anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't deserve my vote. Voted for Obama once will not happen again.

    The reason cart will be speaking at the DNC (not in person) because he is not the worst President every anymore Obama has that hands down.
