DNC announces new bus tour to stalk Romney

(CNN) – The Democratic National Committee is rolling out another bus tour to trail Mitt Romney's own over the weekend through key battle ground states, harping on the Republican candidate's economic policies as throwing "the middle class under the bus."

The DNC tour will last for four days and make stops in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio between Friday and Monday starting in Alexandria, Virginia on Friday at 9:30 a.m. ET, according to their announcement.

The bus debuted Thursday parked, as a not-so-subtle jab, outside the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington. The tour, called "Romney Economics: The Middle Class Under the Bus," will mirror Romney's travel plans over the weekend.

Romney is expected to travel through Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio. CNN first reported the GOP candidate's four-day bus tour last week.

"Throughout Mitt Romney's career, middle-class families have frequently found themselves thrown under the bus as a result of his failed record and top-down economic policies. When Romney was Governor of Massachusetts, the number of business startups fell by 10 percent and hit its lowest point during his last year in office. Massachusetts ranked 47th out of 50 in job creation, and Romney hiked taxes and fees by $750 million a year in addition to saddling the Commonwealth with the highest debt per person in the country," wrote the DNC in a release about the tour, which also says Romney's economic policies would "erode middle-class security."

This is the DNC's second bus tour following Romney as he campaigns throughout the country. In June, a tour by the same name stopped in key battle ground states like Ohio, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Michigan and New Hampshire.

Joining the DNC on the tour will be top Democratic surrogate Debbie Wasserman Schultz as well as Massachusetts elected officials, DNC Vice Chair R.T. Rybak, former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and former Iowa Governor Chet Culver.

Seeing the bus parked outside the front windows of his office, RNC Communications Director Sean Spicer responded saying, "Knowing how bad of a record they have to run on I actually thought they were concerned about losing DC and were trying to connect with voters."

The back of the bus is hilarious. Follow him everywhere he goes. Can we get a bus that reads "RELEASE YOUR TAXES!!!"

"Obama does a lot of negative campaigning against Romey....if he has done such a great job...and everyone loves him.....why is this necessary?? serious reposnes only please'

Translation: "Obama is so darn uppity. He's supposed to be our GOP/Teatroll punching bag and just take it without fighting back."

Grow up all you IOKIYAR monkeys.

Listen. If Obama was such a great president as you liberals believe, the Obama campaign as well as the DNC would not have to resort to these low ball tactics and lies.He would simply run on his record and let the numbers speak for themselves...you know...take the high road. But he cannot. You know why? He is an utter failure. So, throw out the shiny little objects to cause voters to lose focus on the real issues...HIS RECORD. Plain and simple. If voters get it wrong again in November, Washington DC will be renamed Athens. Welcome to Greece. Fools.

The democrats are getting deperate. They now going to be stalking Romney. I feel sorry for them because Obama is going to lose in November and the House/Senate will be republican majority with Romney at the helm. Now we can get America back on the right track.

Will this cute, gimmicky bus play the cute, gimmicky Romney Girl video over and over. Good job Obama – maybe a bus that goes out and explains any plan of yours would be appropriate. Or wait, you just punt everything to Congress and just vote present from the golf course. I would feel better if my tax money went to paying for leadership classes for Obama. Obama and his people are such bottom dwellers. And by the way, is this one of the 3 campaign buses Obama had made in Canada?

Every day the DNC and their supporters lowers the bar a little further in their campaign efforts. This isn't mud slinging. This is politics at its absolute worst. If this is the future of politics in this country, then our darkest days lie ahead.

The Democratic party used to be the liberal party. I don't even recognize them anymore. It's a shame, really.

@ ptny I remember but apparently a lot of folks who write on this blog forget all to easy. They act as if the Democrats are coming up with this idea all on their own. Mitt did it first and I think it is a great idea for the Democrats to follow his example. Why should his group have all the fun.

Just more juvenile behavior far beneath what should be expected of the President of the United States. Democrats continue to sink, and sink, and sink ever lower in the swamp. And these people want to lead the country???

I believed when Obama asked me to. I hoped when he asked me to. A voted for him when he asked me to. That was four years ago. Look at where we stand today. Gay marriage is still illegal in most of the US. The economy is still in shambles and the unemployment rate is still over 8%. Gitmo is still open and operating. Our deficit is still growing. Automatic weapons are still readily available. Green technology in this country is a joke. Politics and campaigns have become an embarrassment of lies, deceit and guerilla tactics. And our country is more divided than it has been since the civil war.

    That will be Obama's legacy.

I'm not voting for Romney this election. I'm voting against Obama.

Stuck in a Blue State: One of the main causes of Greeces financial woes is the wealthy not paying taxes, much like a certain GOP presumptive nominee and his closest friends the "Not to be Named because they whine" Brothers. I myself like tis Presidents record and you would too if you believed in facts. Have a pleasant day!

A lot of gimmicks from Obama campaign, the same fantastic, effective, successful marketing campaign Obama is so good at running. Hey, did anybody tell those 12.8 million unemployed, 8.3% unemployment to look out the window of the unemployment line and wave to Obama????? How about those in the Welfare line, should they be told to wave hello at Obama as he passes with his smart bus?????

Dear Stuck-..... These 'low ball tactics" were invented by the Republicans, didn't you read about Romney recently stalking Obama's campaign? It's childish on both sides, but it's pay back time. Republicans attack mercilessly using all kinds of low, dirty tricks. (Ever heard of Karl Rove?) If they are attacked all you hear is grown up men crying and whining. We are beginning to see them as the cowards they really are: attack but cry foul when the favor is returned. They are also soooo surprised like the school yard bully that runs in tears when the victim reacts. The Democrats are finally showing some guts.

Well now, the shoe is on the other foot.

Remember Romney Bracketing Obama...circling the parking lots, honking his bus horn while Obama was speaking at a few events a few weeks ago?

Yeah, it reminded me of what used to go on in the south (and sometimes still does) because a group of ignorants fees that those like "that one" are beneath them.
