Washington (CNN) - Like a lion trained on its prey, conservatives are tracking certain Republican nominee Mitt Romney for any gaffe, policy shift or other signal that shows he is really the moderate they fear instead of the right-wing ideologue they want.
The continuing distrust of Romney by some on the political right will be one of the most interesting dynamics at the upcoming Republican National Convention that will formally anoint the former Massachusetts governor as President Barack Obama's challenger in November.

trails in every swing state but Colorado at the present where he leads by 5points. PLEASE keep current before you post it makes your argument so much easier. Oh but he DOES have the NRA and over 50 WM crowd in his pocket though.
Even Willard knows by now if voter suppression fails, he fails. As we get closer and closer to November – more and more is going to come out about this guy, and it won't be good. His advisors are falling apart, his base is outraged and nervous and he can't seem to connect with anyone outside of his country club. The only way he can get in the White House is by KEEPING US OUT of the voter booths otherwise, his candidacy is doomed and he'll be back to hustling middle class and poor people out of jobs and pensions.
You don't win any elections even jr.high student counsil less popular than your opponent. By Nov. Romney will be burnt toast, and romney is well behind obama in favorability.

And Nate Silver has him at 72.5% chance to win at this point, with the highest likelihood electoral vote spread being Obama at 330 or so (currently at 300-302 is election held today). Granted, it's all statistics and such...number crunching etc....but he nailed it last time on the prediction of how the electoral votes would fall. It's becoming clearer and clearer that the MSM may be even more desperate than Mittens' campaign at this point: if people stop perceiving it as a neck-and-neck horserace, viewership and clicking numbers will fall.
The more Americans find out about Romney the more they dont like him. Guess that is why Romney is so secretive
repos don't like romney very much themselves. He is like a snake oil salesman. Thats what is wrong with the party. So focused on getting rid of our president that they will vote for any incompitent weasel that comes along. So much for patriotism. They have no concern for this country at all . Vote all repos out. Isn't Ron Paul still coming with his delegates? Robmey does nothing to excite the base. This will be a time for Robmey to flip flop like never before. Remember, this is the guy who says, "I was for it before I was against it".
