Analysis: A bold but risky choice for running mate

Washington (CNN) - Just a few minutes after 7 a.m. on Saturday, Mitt Romney took a step many political experts did not think he would - choosing a controversial and bold running mate and making one of the most important announcements of his campaign at a time many did not expect.

Rep. Paul Ryan admits that he is the poster child for controversial proposals to reform the nation's entitlement programs: For workers now under the age of 55, seniors would be given the option of choosing a private program instead of the traditional Medicare program and would receive money to offset the premium they have to pay. Federal spending for Medicaid would be sent to the states to manage, and the Social Security retirement age would gradually be raised to 70.

Ryan's plan was judged by the Catholic church as immoral. Want to know what else is immoral?

Willard is a bishop in the Mormon cult and it is a cult of people who follow the fraudulent "revelations'" of a con man who claimed an angel appeared to him in upper state New York in the early 19th century, told him where to dig up a chest containing "golden plates" on which were an unknown form of hieroglyphics which only he ( Joseph Smith ) could translate by means of accompanying "magic translating stones".
Think about this for a moment.
How likely is it that an omniscient God would chose this method to transmit his word to the world ?
Unknown hieroglyphics buried in a hill in upper state New York untranslatable except for magic stones in the possession of a semi-illiterate con man ?
Smith, a 19th century man translated these hieroglyphics into 17th CENTURY ENGLISH with the help of friends and neighbors who could write. Does that make any sense ? Would an all-knowing God have done anything like this ?
Some facts about the Book of Mormon which derived from the "golden plates" :
    >>>>>>>25,000 words of the Book of Mormon were taken directly from the Old Testament
    >>>>>>>2,000 words were taken from the New Testament
    >>>>>>>The phrase " and it came to pass" was used some 2,000 times .
    >>>>>>>of the 350 names in the Book of Mormon, 100 came straight from the Bible.
BUT wait...There's more ..... do your own research and read it all.

Wait, weren't Democrats fighting to make the Catholic church pay taxes and stop being non-profit organization???? Yes!!!!!! And it is the Democrats fighting the Catholic church on having to pay for employer abortion and birth control benefits according to Obamacare and the Catholic church had to fight in court because they don't want to pay for abortion and birth control benefits. Now Democrats are actually using the Catholic church to fight Paul Ryan and Romney???? What a joke and what hypocrites.

Unemployment is higher, test scores in schools are lower, the housing situation is unresolved, and the federal shortfall between spending and tax revenues is out of control. Runaway trillion dollar deficits are estimated far into the future. We need someone that takes spending seriously, unlike Obama who is turning this country into a 3rd world welfare nation.

    ROMNEY/RYAN 2012 (For A Better America)

I do not think it was a bold choice. You make your choice bold when you know it will take you where you want to be. What is Ryan choice bringing to Romney? Myself, I do not see it at all. It will not close the gender gap, it will not bring the Latinos together, it will not bring blacks to vote for Romney, it will not make seniors feel at ease to vote for him either. The choice will not make to win neither Florida nor Ohio. What is this choice for?? I do not get it at all.

I have hope again. When Ryan said "This is not the new normal" I knew he was a leader and makes this a great team. Heaven knows we need a change and I think we can put some faith in Romney/Ryan.
