Ryan’s clandestine journey to Romney’s ticket went from ‘surreal to real’

Charlotte, North Carolina (CNN) –- Paul Ryan's journey from congressman to vice presidential candidate was cloaked in secrecy worthy of a big-screen thriller.

In the culminating scene, Republican vice presidential pick-to-be Paul Ryan – policy wonk, statistics nerd, father of three – sneaked through the woods behind his Wisconsin home for a clandestine pickup from a top aide Friday afternoon.

If this isn't class warfare, I don't know what is. The Ryan budget cuts spending that benefits the majority of Americans, including the most vulnerable among us; doesn't touch military spending, even though our own generals have made recommendations of where cuts can be made without jeopardizing our security; and makes tax cuts for the rich permanent, even though the last 10 years has PROVEN that doing so DOES NOT result in job creation here in the U.S.

If you don't believe me, check out the CBO reports about how the Ryan budget adds trillions to our deficit. And check out the Nuns on The Bus website, which details the tour currently underway by Catholic nuns explaining how the Ryan budget is immoral in the way it targets our most vulnerable citizens to funnel more money to the wealthiest.

Obama/Biden 2012 = Not only the only sane choice; the only MORAL choice

    The Ryan budget would:

Raise taxes on 18 million hardworking low-income families while cutting taxes for millionaires and big corporations.
Push the families of 2 million children into poverty.
Kick 8 million people off food stamps and 30 million off health care.

The alternate to this is the Faithful Budget, proposed by a community of faith organizations. To learn more and also to read state-by-state impacts of the Ryan budget, check out the Nuns on the Bus website.

All that means is that you the media were duped as you sat out the front door waiting for him and went home when you decided he was home for the night or whatever.
You lot are so transparent... you want to be indignant but darenot. so you are saying this is what we pieced together afterwards and you wont catch us that easy next time.
    Regards,
    Hodgson.

Europe style austerity policies coming folks, you've seen how it plunged that continent into a double dip recession, I wonder how deep we will slide if mitten and Ryan takes the helm. stop vacuuming out the money from our economy and giving it to the rich, to bypass high middle class earners, and hire robots, computer systems, and cheap third world labor. how the hell these repubs going to take folks food stamps and government workers money and expect the store, and the small businesses around the corner to survive.

The questions people are not asking is, as we know Mitt team asked Ryan to produce many years of tax return, why wouldn't he show his tax returns. On ABC, he even went further to distance himself from his business experience by
saying the personal attacks on business and his taxes should stop. His RNC chairman on fox news now believed
the attack on Oboma birth issue is a distraction as well as the tax issue. This means the republicans know what
is in the Romney's tax return so they try now to believe that Obama birth is now distraction. LIE.

Jon huntsman Sr. requested Mitt to release his tax returns. He went to suggest Mitt should be fair to the American
people by releasing those. Guess what Jon Huntsman is the SOURCE OF HARRY REID CLAIM AND IT IS TRUE
MITT HAS NOT PAID TAXES IN TEN YEARS.

Just saw the new ad from the people who support Obama has a hand coming out saying Mitt is stealing you money and birth control pills just when you couldn't think they could go any lower than saying Mitt caused a person their death they do.

This is your hope and change and moving forward people wake up we don't need another four years of Obama and all of his give me all they money you make kind of people.

Did Mitt follow the IRS rules and if so just shut up and worry about the economy and jobs.

If the IRS had any problems with Mitt do you not think we would hear about it just another case of class warfare by the give everything away to people who didn't earn party.

Lame. Two Corporations teaming up to make the rich richer, and the rest of us their servants.

Definitely two peas in a pod of fascism.

Romneys selection is STILL surreal to me. The Presidential race comes down to independent votes. Ryans plan is very extreme and unbalanced. There is no way this choice will boost Romney's numbers. And for you pea-brained Romney followers who continue to use this post to describe liberals as jobless, uneducated, lazy freeloaders. The more you post, the more we laugh at your ignorance. You obviously are a Faux news zombie who can't think for yourself. And, if you want to argue a topic, try throwing in some facts or details instead of lame generalizations. FYI, I am a small business owner, have 4 college educated kids, one is a officer in the USAF, and we all support Obama and laugh at Romney and his brainwashed followers. "Brainwashed", believe anything you here with no thought of researching the facts or the truth. Objective vs Subjective, look it up!
