(CNN) – While glad-handing with supporters Monday at an impromptu stop at a fire station in North Carolina, Vice President Joe Biden offered his trademark dating advice to young female supporters.
"No dates until you're 30," Biden told a young girl as he greeted firefighters and their families in a small crowd at Hillsborough Fire Department.

The vice president took a break from the campaign trail to pander to local supporters. Biden smiled and shook hands, even calling some of the firefighters by name.
As he worked his way through down a line of families, Biden stopped to talk to another young woman who introduced him to her cousin and brother.
"Know what my dad... used to say? You have one job: Keep boys away from your sister," Biden said to the brother.
Biden has offered similar dating advice in the past, most notably to some of the young daughters of newly-elected senators who Biden swore in last year.

Joe is a real American. His work ethic, grass roots appeal, and honest approach to helping all Americans makes a terrific leader.
Really? "The vice president took a break from the campaign trail to pander to local supporters." What kind of journalism is that? PANDER? Wow, I'm not even a Democrat and I find that a pretty partisan and offensive word choice.
Wow! This is newsworthy. Yawn.
Oh Brother! This guy really IS worse than Dan Quayle!
Get this used car salesman out of office !
Hahahaha...bite little fishies, bite.
CNN, I ask again, is this REALLY newsworthy?! Your leanings are way, way so obvious.
Oh well... birds of a feather...
"No dates until you're 30," ? Nice try!! Joe the ogre, Ryan knows better, young and intelligent.
And this is political how?
On one hand, Biden tells young women to wait for intimacy until after 30 ... and, on the other hand, Biden and the Obama administration keep pushing for Government paid contraception and access to abortions. This inconsistency seems consistent with their other convoluted approaches to everything from spending their way out of debt ... to demanding Romney's transparency, while paying a million bucks to seal college records, and using Executive order to hide Fast n' Furoius ... to solving our energy crisis, by forbidding pipelines and oil drilling.

adorable, but slightly sexist
Actually, biden, according to some Republican – putting an aspirin between your knees also works!!!
Obama/Biden 2012 – The Only Trusted Way Forward!!
Dating Advice???? Why would anyone take "ANY" advice from this person?
do you really trust this used car salesman?
As opposed to Newt, whose standard line was "want to see the back of my campaign bus?"
Give me a break! Whether you are a Repub or Dem, can't you tell when someone is joking!? Take a deep breath and loosen up!
I don't like Biden, but I love his comment! As a father of a teenage girl I'd say he's right on the money on this one!
and ck out if his langauage is it full of 4 letter words too..now thats a big Bfd...right Joe...

My thoughs exactly. This just proves CNN is in the tank for mittens and the wrecking crew.
Sage Advice.
Those replying may want to take a look at the forum this item is being present. Why, look! It's a blog! This isn't headline news material, just different things affecting or reflecting politicians, their lives, their campaigns and their political positions. To get so twisted up over a minor footnote news item really says more about those complaining than anything to do with CNN reporting it in a blog looked at by only a handful of their readers.
Cnn is really showing their bias, "PANDER", what an offensive and outright disrespectiful word to use. I most people respect the vice president as he serve our country......
meant to say, I think most people.....
Someone who needs or heeds Biden's advice might be in a sorry state.
He must have daughters, my husband says the same thing to my daughter all the time.
That is why I like Joe Biden, he really is a regular guy. Not a material elitist like Romney or and intellectual elitist like Obama.
