Biden's dating advice

(CNN) – While glad-handing with supporters Monday at an impromptu stop at a fire station in North Carolina, Vice President Joe Biden offered his trademark dating advice to young female supporters.

"No dates until you're 30," Biden told a young girl as he greeted firefighters and their families in a small crowd at Hillsborough Fire Department.

The vice president took a break from the campaign trail to pander to local supporters. Biden smiled and shook hands, even calling some of the firefighters by name.

As he worked his way through down a line of families, Biden stopped to talk to another young woman who introduced him to her cousin and brother.

"Know what my dad... used to say? You have one job: Keep boys away from your sister," Biden said to the brother.

Biden has offered similar dating advice in the past, most notably to some of the young daughters of newly-elected senators who Biden swore in last year.

    @ Puddin
They can't loosen up. All these people are looking for is something to complain about. They feel by writting on a blog they have made the " big time ". Just like the women who think that because Paul Ryan is " young " and " cute " he would help the country. They refuse to research who this guy really is and learn why he would be a real disaster to the country. Some people shouldn't even be allowed to vote until they could prove they really know what they are talking about and not just repeating what they heard on Fox or from Limbaugh, etc.

"Congrats to Mr Ryan, Read and listen to what he has to say for yourself, not what the liars media print. The media should be ashamed of themselves for such poor work ethic(FACT cHECK) It is very ovious Andrea Mitchell has a crush on him."

Great advice. Better yet, research. I remember when Palin hit the scene. Thankfully I saved all the info I collected from the Alaskan news sources as I read them. Turns out, articles were there one day and no longer "available" the next. Paul Ryan has been around for decades nationally. He ought to be easy to research. Certainly his voting record is there for all to see. As are previous interviews, unless TeamRomney has gotten to them first.

I like when our leaders lighten up for a few minutes. Reminds us that some of them are regular folks. I've always liked VP Biden. His story is a lesson in perseverance. He's had his share of personal tragedies, the likes of which many of us have never experienced. Still he manages to flash that smile, tell a joke or even drop a curse word from time to time. Like I said, "Regular Folks". Every now and then and non- news story is okay...

do you really trust this used car salesman?
    -----------------------------------------------------
We've seen Vice President Biden's tax returns! We've seen the President's tax returns. Romney is hiding his returns because they prove what an unethical cheat and pathetic liar he is. Ryan hides his as well. Why would you trust somebody with our country's leadership who won't trust you with that information?

Now if Crazy Joe was the Republican candidate for Vice President all of the responses in here and articles in the LSM would like this:

Biden is anti-woman and is waging a war on women.

Biden is out of touch with the average American.

Biden lives in the past and would want to lock up all women until the age of thirty.

But since he's just crazy and a Democrat he gets a pass and everybody laughs him off.

I read these comments and all I see is "Joe's wonderful"... "what a great leader"... "such a regular guy". And yet, he ran for the Democratic nomination for president not once, but twice... and failed to crack 2% each time. The praise doesn't match the numbers... I'll never understand it.

Pretty simple really. Biden as POTUS-elect was square peg, round hole. He fits very well as VP though. I know, I know, you disagree blah blah but you wanted to understand, so I enlightened you hehe. Take it or leave it.

Sniffit - Not to mention the SS privatization plan that he proposed

I'd LOVE to get all my social security money back from the government so that I could invest it how **I** wanted it invested. I could also pass it down to my children if I died. Instead righ tnow all I have is a bunch of IOUs from a government that is spending itself into bankruptcy and is on the hook for nearly $100 TRILLION in obligations. The government has pulled a Bernie Madoff with my social security money.

The Democrats want to keep social security in the hands of the government for ONE reason, because it is a huge money stream that they can tap into and use how they want. They could care less about what is better for people and their retirement. While it might have been a decent idea when it started, social security has now been perverted and the Americanpeople are being ripped off, ESPECIALLY the younger generations.

Thank you for confirming what we already knew... Biden isn't qualified to be President, which means he should be the VP.

I think we all need to take a breather from partisan bickering to step back, take a deep breath and give thanks that Jennifer Anniston has finally found true love.

And let’s keep on rooting for the broken hearted Twilight girl.

It will be interesting to see if Biden is on the ticket with Obama 30 days from now. My guess is that Hillary Clinton might replace him because Biden is a poor match-up with Paul Ryan. I doubt she could do any better against Ryan.

"Guess what neither will the Ryan plan!! It will not touch seniors benefits."

Yes, it very much does. The vouchers are small and their increases are pegged to the rate of inflation. Health care costs have been increasing at multiple times the rate of inflation...and yet, the CouponCare Crapshoot does nothing whatsoever to control that. The result is a rapid atetnuation of the real-world help that would be provided to seniors, functionally phasing out Medicare. As a result, IT ISN'T MEDICARE BECAUSE IT BREAKS THE PROMISE. It's an entirely different program that phases out the gov't assistance to seniors and disabled people almost completely and it doesn't become "Medicare" just because you slap the same name on it.

The American People want to see Mitt's and Ryan's tax returns for the past 20 years. We want to see their tax rates and what they deducted. We also want to see how many jobs Mitt off-shored and how much money he has hidden in off-shore accounts evading taxes.
