Washington (CNN) - For both presidential campaigns, Republican Mitt Romney's choice of Wisconsin congressman and conservative star Paul Ryan as his running mate was like Christmas come early.
Conservatives wanted one of their own on Romney's ticket and they got that in Ryan, who has emerged as their ideological leader on the Hill on fiscal and budget matters. The choice also helps satisfy Republican strategists who felt Romney needed to not only stress how President Barack Obama has failed in that role, but also better articulate what the GOP candidate would do if elected.

As the Obama team feverishly tries to demonize Paul Ryan, it just shows who threatened they feel. While Romney & Ryan are on the way up ... Obama is on the way down ... and out.
It didn't make any difference who Romney picked, the Democrats and their leftist smear machine was going to give them the Palin treatment. I'm glad that Ryan was picked because anybody that sees and listens to the guy will immediately know the Democrats are lying about him. It will bite them in the backside BIG time. But what else can they do? They have no ideas or accomplishes in 4 years and the country is worse off because of them. So all they do is smear, smear, smear... Just more of the same old Obama demonization. I really do think the American people are fed up with it.

Mitt was thinking," The federal government is an awful mess, Americans are frustrated with the political circus and there are some serious challenges when I am elected. Who has shown they are capable of avoiding all of the political hoopla and helping put in solutions to these biggest problems? Who also has the vision and capability to serve as President should if that ever became necessary?" His answer was obvious. Romney/ Ryan 2012.

And on th esame theory as underlies negating "preferences" in bankruptcy, the Bush Tax cuts for the wealthy have got to go.

The most vulerable are those in the womb. They deserve the same protections as the rest of us... but they're innocent, helpless, and unable to speak. The democrats certainly don't stand up for hem.

The comments coming from the left are getting more and more desperate, which makes for some entertaining reading. Ryan was a good choice, probably will ensure Romney gets elected.
Oops. I guess we aren't allowed to discuss Mr. Ryan's past voting record - adding to the list of Romney "no-no's", including but not limited to: income taxes, wealth, off shore accounts, 401K accounts, horses, religion, prior job experience, future plans, and lapel flag pins (which has occured to me that I have yet to see either Romney or Ryan wear).

and the unbudgeted Prescription Drug Plan D.
Ryan signed the Norquist pledge.
Ryan wants to either privatize everything or turn it over to the States. Either way, our costs and/or taxes
will go up.
How will he pay for all of this? Who knows.
If you think Romney has his "own budget plan" why haven't we heard what it is?

I think Mitt made a big MISTAKE! Who wants to destroy our safety net? I'm happy to be voting for OBAMA/BIDEN! At least we could have stomached some of the others but this Ryan is much too radical.

another Tea Party Clown
Democrats prey on the most vulnerable in our society... the uneducated, the naive, the easily confused and scared. The young kids and the elderly. Proof is easily seen in their smear tactics and where Obama spends most of his time, at college campuses conning the young and stupid to vote for him, and OUT of their future (of massive debt payments thanks to Obama).
