New York (CNNMoney) - Federal workers' jobs will be under fire if Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan win November's election.
Both Romney and Ryan have made it clear that they think federal workers are one reason the nation's deficit is too high, and have talked about shrinking payrolls and cutting benefits.

Romney/Ryan will get my vote on this one issue alone.
How many times do I have to tell you? Mittens is being "hired" by his "investors" to do to the federal gov't exactly what he did to companies while at Bain: massively reduce the workforce, raid the pensions and health care plans, and, if possible or "necessary," send it into bankruptcy...all in order to extract a profit for said "investors." Guess who Mittens' "investors" are and who will make the most "profit" from Mittens and Ryan disassembling the federal gov't?
Of course, throwing more people out of work, cutting benefits...its what Romney is really good at. Too bad its never resulted in a stronger economy.
Does that mean they will target the retirement plans and healthcare benefits of Congress? That would save millions of dollars to the budget.
Less Work, Higher Pay, Expensive Benefits and a Lavish Retirement Plan.., all on the tax payers dime.

What would the Repub. Party be w/out a Boogeyman ? If Govt. workers are making more than PRIVATE SECTOR workers, shouldn't one consider RAISING the earnings of private sector workers ? It might also boost the 70% of our National Economy, CONSUMER SPENDING.
Hopefully congress will get their perks slashed.

Ryan's plan will not cut 4 million jobs, but when those people retire, it does not automatically rehire that position.
Interesting. Perhaps Mr. Ryan can share with us how he became a millionaire while working in Washington, His background shows that he has a modest background. The salaries of Reps.and Senators is supposedly not enough to live on without outside resources. Isn't that hwy they constantly vote themselves raises.
Attack Fed. Workers ? Right up Romneys alley, fire-em, shut-em down, lets let Big Corporations wright their own rules and regulations. Gut Medicare, privitize Social Security and send it to Wallstreet. Let's give MORE Tax breaks to the TOP 2 Percent. .................all of the above ? NEVER!
Don't you stupid people know our tax dollars are paying for the government jobs that are controlled by unions and how are they doing not so good are they.
We shouldn't have any tax dollars going to any union jobs period.
The Senate and Congress should have term limits, no retirement except SS, 401K what they pay into not tax dollars, health care like everyone else, medicare like I have, and no tax funded retirement period.
All government workers should be nonunion and get paid on their performance how they spend our tax dollars if they don't make any money they don't get raises or a bonus. Try working for a living like the rest of us do and see how long you will last. My company doesn't give out raises for spending more than you take in and I don't think our tax dollars should do the same.
The raises and bonuses that GM paid out should be taken back until they pay all of their loans back they got from our taxes to be used to pay down our debt then after that is done they might want to look at a bonus or raise.

Ye who have little faith. Of course most Federal Workers will be uh, Fired, Laid off, Re-assigned. Since all Social Programs will be eventually shut down, sent to the states, they will have jobs with the states, maybe even in productive enterprises!! When the R and R Adminstration takes charge you will see real progress!!
