Very few Officers , it must be nice to have lobby for private military contractors.

Where were these guys when Ahmed Chalaby fed GW Bush bad intel and sent them looking for WMDs that didn't exist ?

What do they think of Mitt Romney's five sons avoiding voluntary military service ?

What a shame, the repubicans have destroyed the respect of their own party. This is the most disrespectful, dispickable thing i've ever seen comming from our Military towards their Comander & Chief. What a shame it has come to this. Mr. Romney who supports this ? He is a man of absolute no character or substance.

It was a new low for the Office of the President how Obama milked this operation for all he could get out of it. Classic Obama though, classic Obama.

When does this happen? I think that there is a member of the military that has objections to any president that they serve under.

I used to be a repub till congress was taken over by the tea party and Romney as our candidate.I cannot support a man who is a draft dodger and a tax evader. The repub congress has done nothing for vets, nothing for the middleclass. All of the good repubs have gone or have been forced out by the extremists that care nothing for the average joe or veterans like myself.Until we get real candidates that care for the middleclass and vets I will not vote for the repubs.Honor and respect, and caring for this nation is what the repubs used to stand for ,now we have wackjobs from the tea party holding america hostage and thats as un patriotic as it gets,it is hurting many americans, our economy and soldiers who are looking for work. Romney is not the answer he is the problem with America with his lies and phony religion...Sorry this voter will stay an ex repub till the party becomes honerable again.

    The Ryan choice is EXCELLENT
Ryan has the courage to challenge Big socialist government programs like Social Security and Medicare.
Politicians have been deathly afraid to challenge senior citizens on Social Security and Medicare because they are such a powerful voting block
But Senior Citizens have been feeding at the government trough for too long.
It's time Seniors learned that nothing is "Free" and that WELFARE FOR THE ELDERLY is no different from welfare for the poor.
American seniors are just going to have to learn to save their money and rely on themselves in their old age.
NO MORE GOVERNMENT HANDOUTS TO SENIORS
It's time to end the two biggest socialist programs in the federal government....MEDICARE and SOCIAL SECURITY.
And the Romney/Ryan team is the ones to do it.
You are going to pay your way now old people, no more free lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

The Swiftboaters are back. Run by Karl Rove and most likely funded by Harold Simmons, Texas billionaire who
funded the John Kerry swiftboat attacks.
Sorry to see these guys sell their souls, but by just reading the article they are in Repukelican hands and only
prove themselves to be nothing more than yes-men. They have no proof President Obama was involved, but
they sling the mud anyway. Very sad.

In Obama's way of thinking Obama did kill Osama bin Laden because he gave the order, remember his saying that you didn't build that someday else did, your teacher, bus driver etc....Just like with many bosses, they take the credit and not the employee for the work the employee performed because it was the boss who gave the employee the order to do it. Same reasoning with Obama, the boss takes the credit.

We knew it was going to come to this. Bush was the one who called out the order and it so happens Obama was the one who caleed for it to be headed out. Bush ordered the killing. Obama did not. The troops deserve all the credit if anything.

This doesn't come as much of a surprise. We all knew then that Obama was taking credit for a program that he was against and didn't create. Shameful the way he tried to take credit for the event. It's instances like these show his lack of leadership.

Google Operation Eagle Claw if you want to know how important and why Obama's call took Guts. This pathetic attempt to Swift Boat the president is Sad and it won't work. Its a sad attempt to devalue the effort and hunt to capture BinLaden, Ofcourse the president deserves credit. Atleast he didn't show up on airplane carrier with a jump suit, claiming victory. This is sad

The President gave full credit to the Navy Seals who carried out the mission. That fact should not be overlooked. If the Seals felt that there were problems they should have spoken to their commanders. Any government employee who made facts about the raid known under the radar should be shown the door. They have violated the trust given to them. Clearly, someone wanted to make himself just a little more powerful. This mission took place during the President's term and he made the final decision to go. It was a very difficult mission and those involved were together to wait for the outcome.

As for the retired SEALS, the retired members of the services and others – an ad during a political campaign is suspect. SEALS are the most protected military we have. Their identities remain secret on purpose. The President alluded to that secrecy when he spoke about the SEALS. What motivates the SEALS now? What motivates the retirees is politics and that is very clear. Who paid for the ad because military members do not make that much money? How many military retirees are aware of this group? Who is given membership? Many questions but very few answers.

These people are shameless. They would be the first people to blame Obama, and not blaming the special forces if the raid was unsuccessful. They tried to be a Republican Representative and they failed, and now they play politic. I used to have a very high resect for all the Seals, not anymore, all Seals are not the same. Wonder how much money they got from Karl Rove?

  23. ThinkAgain: Under the Ryan Plan, Romney Pays 0.87% in taxes

If this is true, then why did the SEALs wait until now to reveal it? I thought they cared about our country and protecting our military personnel – why did they wait this long to make their accusation?

Oh, I remember, the check from the GOP hadn't cleared yet ...

This is behavior unbecoming a military member. It is especially disturbing coming from former officers and of an elite group. Appaling.
