When we have a job, GOP threatens to take it away by making it easy for corporations to outsource it overseas.

When we become unemployed, GOP threatens our livelihood by seeking to take away our unemployment benefits.

When our banks and Wall Street firms play wild games with money and threaten global financial health, GOP says it is a good thing that the free capitalist markets are at work even though millions lose their jobs.

When our kids get into the best private colleges after working their buts off, GOP threatens to make it impossible for them to actually enroll and finish colleges by taking away loans and financial assistance.

When our kids manage to finish and get their degrees with huge debts to repay, the jobs they apply for disappear and go overseas, thanks to people like Romney and his Bain Capital.

When GOP gets their way with medicare and medicaid, our parents will no longer support themselves financially in their older age...

And while we go and file for bankruptcy, our super rich counterparts are becoming super super rich, sipping champaign at one of their many super luxurious vacation homes, laughing and congratulating themselves on their fortunes, singing "The rich get richer and the poor get children..."

    Thanks Romney/Ryan.

It is great that Paul Ryan is going to Florida to let voters hear his "real" positions/plans for Medicare, not the liberals' versions of his plans for Medicare. There is definitely a reason that Paul Ryan was elected/reelected in a Democratic district of Wisconsin 7 times–with the last time being in 2010 with 65% of the vote.

If you want to know how Ryan really treats seniors, google "71 year old man handcuffed at Ryan event". Ryan joked as the man was pushed to the ground and handcuffed "I hope he took his blood pressure medicine" to the laughter of the crowd.

  5. "Responsibility"

Ryan said "We will not blame anybody, we will take responsibility..." Its true, without consequences for President Bush's failures, it is easy to plan positively to take responsibility for FAILURE. I feel bad for these Florida seniors.

Young voters – the ones who so notably turned out for Barack Obama in 2008 – are fed up with being unemployed, and many are beginning to turn against the president’s big-government solutions to America’s economic woes.

One group tracking this turnaround is Generation Opportunity, or GO, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that seeks to mobilize Americans aged 18-29 toward “real solutions” to joblessness and the flailing economy.

GO boasted this past week that its family of Facebook pages – with names like “We Like Small Government” and “Gas Prices Are too D— High” – have topped over 4 million “likes” and growing, fueled by a young demographic that polls show is increasingly disillusioned with Obama’s economic policies.
