(CNN) - Mitt Romney, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, joined a host of fellow Republicans in calling on Rep. Todd Akin to withdraw from his Missouri Senate race Tuesday. His campaign released the following statement:
"As I said yesterday, Todd Akin's comments were offensive and wrong and he should very seriously consider what course would be in the best interest of our country. Today, his fellow Missourians urged him to step aside, and I think he should accept their counsel and exit the Senate race."

Akin/Paul Ryan come from the same thread of the Republican party. Just because they say they Ryan agrees with Romney who has changed from the primary on this stance (etch a sketch) doesn't mean the American people are going to buy it. Ryan has a 100% rating from the ProLife movement. He has a bill with Akin for redefining rape. Please.
Akin's problem isn't how he feels (the GOP feels the same way), the problem is that he said it out loud. On the Radio!!! That was his offense. See the GOP feels it's OK to legislate against women as long as you don't say you're doing so. You see they can say their not anti-women because they've never SAID that they are, but as anyone knows ACTIONS speak much louder than words.
