One event – titled "East End for Obama" – will be hosted by funnyman Nathan Lane, whose had rave appearances in ABC's "Modern Family," along with "The Producers" on Broadway and the film, "The Birdcage." Also slated to attend are actresses Julianne Moore and "Sopranos" star Edie Falco. Musician James Taylor will perform.

Ticket prices range from $500 to $10,000, according to Obama campaign official.

The event will be held at the home of Ellen Chesler and Matthew Mallow. Chesler is a senior fellow with the progressive Roosevelt Institute, and Mallow is a retired partner formerly at the New York office of law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

The website Curbed Hamptons, which specializes in Hamptons real estate and lifestyles, reported Chesler and Mallow's 8,000 square-foot home was on the market for $32.5 million in April.

News of the fund-raiser was first reported by the New York Post.

The vice president will attend a second fund-raiser in Bridgehampton. The New York Times reports it will be at the home of Chad Leat of Citigroup.

Wow, that is very rich, Romney won't be able to top that one. Romney doesn't have this kind of connections. Must be nice to have that kind of money.

Bidens smart getting to these elitist before Romney tried,he's good at smelling money,no matter where its at.And good at his lies too,its getting worse with his Ayn Rand sidekick Ryan lying as well as Romney does,no morals,no ethics,no compassion and elitist as well...So there's not financial hardship in their political lives that some indure, especially in a hotly contested campaign as big and nasty as this one is!!

The down side of needing to buy advertisements; the need to raise money should be kept out of politics as much as possible.

Good luck, Joe! My husband, our son, almost all of our many friends and relatives and I are with you and the other Democrats. I am urging people to give as much money as they can, and we will keep on contributing before Nov.
