Topping the list are the sounds of rockers 3 Doors Down and Lynyrd Skynyrd; country crooners The Oak Ridge Boys and Randy Owens; and "America's Got Talent" winner Neal Boyd.
The 50,000 who are expected to attend the four-day convention next week will also hear from some local flare in the Tampa Gospel Choir and Conrad Oberg, a legally blind 17-year-old keyboardist and guitarist from Jacksonville, Florida.
Notably absent from the lineup announced on Friday is Kid Rock, who performed at a Romney rally in Michigan in February. Kid Rock's "Born Free" is a staple of the soundtrack at Romney rallies.

It's surprising that Ted Nugent and Hank Williams Jr. aren't performing at the convention. They are two of his most loyal and vocal supporters. They must be disappointed that they weren't asked.
Not much diversity in music genres. But, it does match the limited diversity of the audience that will attend.
My grandson just threw up hearing who is paying. And he's almost 30 years old. Get real. We all know what the real entertainers will be. The clowns on stage.
It is nothing about politics, it is about hurricanes. The timing could not be any better.
Good leadership involves transparency and accountability which Romney has none of. He is a phony that will say anything to get elected. I feel sorry for the people who trust this guy. He has constantly beat his chest as a great American while he stashes his money in foreign banks to evade taxes. We know better.
Romney/Ryan 2012! Restoring America to liberty and prosperity.
Issacs, coming to see your tax returns Mr. Romney.
The music choices are a perfect feflection of the GOP: out-dated and out of touch.
Sorry. I meant REFLECTION of the GOP!
The American People must set the tone...in uniting the COUNTRY ...by showing respect for the different and demanding respect from the Politicans...Both Parties in Washington must stand-up and respect and debate in the inerest of the Country....Anything else is overstepping "The Government by the People for the People....
Have you noticed that the media is more concerned about a hurricane hitting republicans than a hurricane hitting average citizens... like in Haiti, or the carribean, or... Alabama?
