Isaac could hinder GOP chance to define Romney at convention

Tampa, Florida (CNN) – A shortened Republican National Convention needs to overcome a threatening hurricane, as well as Democratic attacks and lingering internal rifts, to seize the best remaining chance to show America the real Mitt Romney before the November election, top Republicans said Sunday.

GOP officials already canceled Monday's planned first day of the convention due to Isaac, the tropical storm growing to hurricane strength in the Gulf of Mexico off Florida.

God hates the GOP and especially the heathen Mitt Romney. Using the GOP's own logic, rejection of science, and blind faith in the creator what other conclusion can one draw from this storm?

Well, if romney record was so great as governor of Massachusetts why didn't he run for reelection?” . “I mean if you didn't want to even stand before the people of Massachusetts and run on your record–if it was that great, why did you bail out?

IThere is a higher power and just maybe the GOP needs to rethink how they treat people who are not as fortunate as they are the same thing happened to MCClain at the GOP convention. Prayer is a powerful thing and Romney might think he doen't have to answer to the people but he will answer to the higher power and treat people with respect.

These storms are not to be taken lightly and the millionaires and billionaires are decinding on Tampa trying to buy this election and somebody up above does not like it.

Majority of Americans don’t like both candidates and both parties that is fact
Only few people interested both candidates
We like Romney because we hate Obama , we like Obama because there is no choice
    Very sad situation

Romney has already defined himself as a flip flopper. Also, Romney purchased companies loaded up companies with debt, sent them into bankruptcy and sold them off to make millions at the expense of american workers. He didn't want to pay them retirement benefits so he passed that off to the Government. That is the FACTS

The GOP chose Tampa as the host city for this convention. No one seemed to know that this is prime hurricane season. In essence it was a crap shoot of great proportions.

I don't believe the convention would help redefine Romney because from what I read all networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC will not air most of the convention and I think some said they won't air it period. Networks are Democrat and they will favor and help Obama. I think Fox Network will air it but most people don't watch Fox so Romney's message won't reach many people. Obama has the Networks on his side to carry his message to voters, Republicans don't have the same opportunity. It's not a fair situation but what can anyone do.

Mitt Romney is a joke. He needs to go back to all his homes, and stop running for president. He has no clue as to what the american people want. He can talk about Obama all he wants, but at least Obama has tried to fix the country. Its the old prejudice, women hating, republicans who have stopped EVERYTHING that he has tried to do. Obama 2012!

Romney barely gets any air time, Networks are Democrat and are against Romney so they only show the bits that hurt Romney and they give all their efforts to Obama and only show the stuff that makes Obama look good and they even defend Obama if he messes up. Not a fair fight but what can Republicans do?????

When will the GOP "holiness" and 'prayer mantis" tell us the message the storm bring to their convention?

Mitt Romney definition? To the progressives hes a flip flopper. To the conservatives hes other than Obama. Those seem to be the most reliable and consistent definitions of Romney. To define Romney beyond that, the RNC needs to bring in a panel of mental health experts.

@ "Drake Mallard & Dee" maybe onto something.

How many times have we heard the evangelical types like Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin cite "God`s Plan" as their justification for what they have said or what they have done; including offices they`ve run for.

If they truly believe that, then they must look at these hurricaines as a judgement from the Almighty. Now will they ever be able to embrace that and repent?

    Ah haa!

Mittens doesn't have to go to church (if you can really call the LDS a church) to talk to God. God is giving him a message loud and clear by having Issac pay him a visit.

Dee- just curious.... Does Obama have to answer to a higher power? He and George Soros bought the 2008 election.

May be they should define first what is hurricane, how is it formed, and why always do come at this time of the year? Is it science or what is it?
