(CNN) - Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell on Tuesday night tried to sell the American public on the virtues of having the GOP in charge of states.
In a speech at the Republican National Convention, McDonnell said that unemployment was lower in states led by Republican governors than in those headed by Democrats.
And I bet they ALL have accepted stimules money, but won't say thats the tru reason as to why they are doing ok.. just like our gov. of OHIO.. he has done nothing, but yet we are doing ok due to the Auto bailout .. Thx Prez. Obama
Get real america–republicans will look you in the eye and lie lie lie. while the reporter is telling them about fact checks say their rhetoric is lies they keep pushing the lies.claim to be christians yet their message is brought to us with i will lie cheat or steal to WIN!!!!!!!!
So Republicans have finally figured out that Governors create jobs ? Now they can stop blaming Obama and put Mitt Romneys job creation numbers as Governor up for debate. As far as best states to do business in,infrastructure plays a key role in attracting business and Republicans are against infrastructure when it comes to speaking out loud but they quietly take every cent of government help they can get their hands on for their home states
Well then, I guess he just admitted the POTUS doesn't have that much control over who fires who, or lay-offs to increase company profits. Since they (conservatives) are such upstanding christians I guess they will reveal the truth tonight at the convention. Oh how I can't wait to watch.
Way to go CNN PoliticalFactChecker, once again, checks nothing that the Obama regime puts out but is quick to "fact check" Republicans. Once again showing the liberally biased media at its most biased. Will the fact checker even comment on anything at the democrat liberal convention?
May be due to the fact that repubs do not want handouts!
It would seem that the Stimulus worked. It served its' purpose of stopping the economic freefall.
I suggest that you FactCheck this: "The size of government has grown under Obama." It has not. In fact, not only has the number of public employees shrunk during the recovery, every previous Republican president has increased the number of public employees to stimulate a recovery....and it worked.
