Etch A Sketch cashes in on Romney aide gaffe

New York (CNNMoney) - Months after an aide to Mitt Romney made his now infamous "Etch A Sketch" gaffe, the company that makes the iconic toy is still trying to cash in on it.

The Ohio Art Company has started selling limited-edition election versions of its Etch A Sketch for $19.99. The products come in two colors: red and blue, with a cover sticker showing a donkey and an elephant in a tug of war in front of the White House.

  1. Now it's about integrity!

The Etch-A-Sketch is a perfect analogy for Romney's highly flexible ideology. The Koch Brothers wouldn't want to buy a person with any real integrity or principles, like Ron Paul. That type person would be too difficult to manipulate when they're calling-in the favors.

I think Romney would agree that this is a great idea, it helps put people to work. I hope they do sell many at Christmas time and the manufacturing plant will be very busy. And they built it not the government.

    Define irony:

Republicans touting the line that businesses "built that" in a building built using government money.

Calling a healthcare plan derived from a conservative foundation, championed by republican leaders, enacted by a republican governor a far left extreme idea.

Won't be buying one. I would have to constantly change the picture just to keep up with Robmey and his flip flops.

I didn't realize they had taken money from the government to build their building. I didn't read that in the article. Sorry.
Tell me, they took the money or was it owed back to the government with interest???????

That's what happens when you get your news exclusively from the right wing media.

That building is fairly new, so I doubt if it has been paid back yet. They may not even have to pay it back at all, due to all of the revenue the facility generates.

Has the right wing told you that polling still shows that 2/3 of American still blame Bush for the weak economy?

I actually agree this would make a good going away gift for all of us because there won't be much left of our economy when Obama is done with it.

In this country to be put on any payroll, the Governement requires you to fill out an I-9 form, REQUIRING TWO types of ID. One verifying who you are, and the other verfifying that you are legally allowed to work in this country. So we must show ID to work and pay taxes, but not to vote?
    ---------

    Excellent point.
    ==========================================
    Really?

Here's my definition of an excellent point. In most states you need the same forms of ID in order to register to vote and get your name put on the voting rolls on Election Day.

This is the house that Obama built. No record they are willing to speak of just distractions and insults to the opposition.

For starters, none of the above are running for the highest office in the land with the plan to give further tax cuts to the wealthiest and pay for it by "privatizing"/gutting SS & Medicare and abolishing the tax deduction for mortgage interest. Secondly, prove that any of them have offshore accounts.
