Romney to survey storm damage in Louisiana

(CNN) – Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will travel to Lafitte, Louisiana Friday to view storm damage from Hurricane Isaac after his joint morning event with Paul Ryan in Lakeland, Florida, according to his campaign.

Romney will join Gov. Bobby Jindal and meet with first responders to thank them for their work, as well as see areas affected by the storm in Lafitte.

Romney's campaign said Jindal invited the nominee for part of the governor's already-planned schedule to help raise awareness of the damage for people who need help and donations.

Lafitte is located just south of New Orleans and experienced heavy floods from the Category 1 hurricane that tore through the area on Tuesday.

Romney, who accepted his party's nomination for president Thursday night, has canceled his campaign appearance at an event in Richmond, Virginia later Friday, but will still be at the morning rally with Ryan in Florida. Ryan, meanwhile, will continue on to Richmond.

After taking a break from Tampa to speak in Indianapolis Wednesday at the American Legion convention, Romney made a joke, then expressed concern about the storm.

"I appreciate this invitation to join you on dry land this afternoon," he said, drawing laughs. "Our thoughts are, of course, with the people of the Gulf Coast states. Seven years ago today, they were bracing for Hurricane Katrina. This afternoon they are enduring Isaac."

He continued: "We're grateful that it appears Isaac will spare them from the kind of damage we saw during Katrina, but for many in the Gulf Coast who just finished repairing their homes and are getting a life back to normal, this must be a heavy burden. So today our thoughts are with them, our prayers go out to them, and our country must do all we can to help them recover."

Romney will view the damage from afar figuring out how much he could make on a venture to restructure that state and more. He's a sly one making people believe he cares when he actually only cares about is monetary, that's his goal to be more wealthy, more elite, more snobbish then he is now. He's plastic,so is Barbie doll Ann,she's so full of botox she probibly has a botox line named after her and she's as sincere as a lion at feeding time talking about us small minded people voting for Mitt, especially those Latinos out there. She won't say hey we're Mexican too,not from those injected lips ,not on your life..They have gallons of antiseptic hand soap in their trailer to clean the stinch of common people off, can't get too close to them, yah don't know what they have,do ya!!!

If there is one man that can help and knows what action to take to help those poor families in serious trouble would be Romney. Governor Romney is used to helping, working in the community. Romney is action not talk, not pretty words, not a motivational speaker, Romney just does it. I myself am reaching out to other small business owners so we can help those families.

Maybe President Obama will do a "fly-over" and give a "shout out" to Romney; since Romney feels he needs to "photo op."

There is only one President at a time and Governor Jindal will try to make his visit Political against the President he iinvited him down. This is not the time when people are hurting the President has all resources in place and the people did not heed his message to leave.

And the fantasy continues... From last night's "Sit-back-and-imagine-me-entering-congress-to-deliver-my-state-of-the-union" entrance to today's "Here's-a-glimpse-of-me-surveying-natural-destruction-and-consoling-victims", the fabrication campaign continues for those too dim to know the difference.

Should be a blast watching Romney deliver his fake inaugural in split-screen on Fox in January.

What the hell does he got to do with it? Just a publicity stunt... Hopefully he'll stay out of the way of rescuers and crews trying to help people.
