Washington (CNN) – A U-Haul truck loaded with equipment for a Monday event featuring Vice President Joe Biden was stolen in Detroit Sunday, a spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service said.
"A U-Haul that we were utilizing was stolen at the Westin Hotel overnight," Ed Donovan told CNN.
Donovan would not specify what equipment was in the U-Haul at the time it was stolen, and added that the theft shouldn't affect the vice president's plans on Monday.
Biden is scheduled to speak at a Labor Day rally in downtown Detroit Monday and march in a parade organized by the Michigan AFL-CIO. Last year President Barack Obama spoke at the Motor City's Labor Day celebration.

Living 50 miles from Detroit in another city slowly deteriorating I find this story humorous. Sad, but humorous. Detroit is like a woman who stayed in an abusive marriage for 50 years, continuously beat up and starved. She looks up after 50 years and wonders what went wrong. What went wrong is this:
Dem rule and unions broke Detroit along with the federal governments vow in the 1970s to send all manufacturing overseas while we became the buyers of the products produced. We were sold out when we went off the gold standard. The rest of the world did not want us to, but we did it anyway. Now, we are no longer "gold" to the rest of the world.
Now Biden Knows how we feel when they break their oath of office, steal our money, freedoms, and liberties. and subvert the United Stataes Constitution, The Bill Of Rights and The Declaration of Independence.
Impeach Obama and Biden.

Be assured, a democrat stole the equipment! Democrats represent those who contribute the least to our society tied in with those who simply want to live off the taxpayer. Obama/Biden is their champion. Look how Obama just issued an order 3 weeks ago eliminating the requirement of work effort to get a welfare check. This, along with food stamps, section 8 housing, free medical care and no taxes, makes these Obama supporters his base and Obama keeps feeding and building up these government dependent 'voters'. Our country is going downhill with these democrats and will get even worse if Obama gets re-elected. Wake up America!

Nobody should be surprised – Detroit is filled with Democrats and I'm sure the people who stole it are Democrats. They're just putting the progressive liberal ideology of class warfare into action, taking from the 'haves' and giving it to themselves. Theft and redistribution are core principles in the Democrat ideology (along with envy, jelousy and greed).
