First lady will set the tone for convention with Tuesday night speech

Charlotte, North Carolina (CNN) - As Michelle Obama took the stage at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night, she faced a similar task as Ann Romney of presenting her husband as a father and family man, above his public persona in the political spotlight.

"When people ask me whether being in the White House has changed my husband, I can honestly say that when it comes to his character, and his convictions, and his heart, Barack Obama is still the same man I fell in love with all those years ago," Mrs. Obama said.

Everytime i get on cnn its alway negative about romney or the rep say. None of the neg. Obama and the dem. Bush 8 year the highest uneployment hit 7.9 in the hole 4.8 trillon. Under obama 10.2 unemployment in the hole 5.7 trillon and at the end of this year another trillon. Obama promised he would have that fixed in the first 4 years. Why is it when u bring up facts the dems change the subject or try to blame bush. Obama grewup and supports socilizm not only does he want to share the wealth for this country he also wants to do it everywhere! Hes not going by the consitution. Federal law says the igellals are to be sent back to there country but he wants us to pay for everything for iglleals in this country. And pay for the lazy people on welfare who want get up and work while the have expensive cloths and cars. I make 42000 a year as firefighter have 6 kids and me and my wife do just fine with no help. Republicans like to question whether one is better off today compared to four years ago. The question should be, How much worse would we be if the republicans had been in the white house all along? Their trickle down approaches to our economy never worked before so why should be think they will work now?

Ann Romney spoke about love but it was over shadowed by the hate speechs that followed including that of the so-called pastor Huckabee.
