Warren to take spotlight with big speech at Democratic convention

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (CNN) – For a first-time candidate in one of the tightest and most closely watched Senate races, there's no better spot to raise your profile than a prime-time speaking slot at the Democratic convention just before former President Bill Clinton takes the microphone.

But that's where Elizabeth Warren will find herself on Wednesday night, speaking as a major voice for the Democratic Party and embraced by its liberal base.

    She needs to make a large positive impression to gain some ground in MA. Otherwise she is going to have to knock on everydoor and personally get people to vote.
