John King: Obama must make case against change

Charlotte, North Carolina (CNN) - Four years later, consider the role reversal: As he closes his convention, Barack Obama's greatest challenge is to make the case against change.

Yet he can't ask the American people to simply stay the course.

The case is simple John. R&R are a bunch of lying, hypocrites. If they're promising you something, you might as well look at the other side of their position because that's what they're for. Simple as that. The President just needs to tell us his vision for the future. We already know why he's better than the alternative.

Substance versus Image. The choice is not at all difficult.

I wonder if the Republicans considered having their ex-president GW Bush nominate Romney. I hope GW will be out on the campaign trail reminding voters just what a disaster the Republicans were in office.

"John King: Obama must make case against change"

Consider the blatant idiocy: in 2008, Obama was talking about "change" in terms of policies, the reasoning and ideologies underlying them and trying to use different approaches and solutions to solve the problems facing the nation AND in 2012, some bobblehead political hack pundit pretends he's being clever by using "change" solely to refer to whether Obama stays in office or the POTUS "changes."

FACT: we're still talking about "change" in the sense the Obama was talking about it in 2008 and it's still 100% relevant becauase the GOP/Teatrolls have blocked as much 'change" as they could in order to keep things the same...our laws, our policies, our problems, our approaches to solutions and the ideologies underlying them. The change Obama spoke of is still needed because it was thwarted to a great extent by small-minded self-centgered myopic plutocrat ideologues and angry bigots...and no, I'm not going to mince words about the bigotry...and the massive obstructionist tantrum they've thrown for the past 4 years instead of compromising and behaving in a reasonable and rational manner. In short, you're 100% wrong, King....Obama needs to remind everyone that not enough has changed, WHOSE FAULT THAT IS and convince everyone that he's still the man to fight on the frontlines for the change everyone demands.

So Obama was saying that we needed to Change the way things were done in 2008. He didn't really Change much about the way government works but that doesn't Change the fact that him Changing to Don't Change shouldn't Change the Change voters that Changed their vote to elect him. Sounds like the standard Obama speech.
