CNN Fact Check: Obama, Romney and Osama bin Laden

(CNN) - It may have been Barack Obama's most dramatic moment as president so far, and it certainly didn't go unmentioned as he accepted the Democratic nomination for a second term Thursday night.

Speaker after speaker reminded the audience in the convention hall and beyond that al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden - the mastermind of 9/11, public enemy No. 1 for a decade - had been gunned down by American commandos in Pakistan 16 months ago.

    Another easy comparison.
bin laden is dead because this is one of the President's promises he spoke about during the debates and he said that if we had to go into Pakistan so be it.
The old man "knew" where bin laden was hiding and wouldn't give it up. shrub #43 just a mere six months after 9/11 wasn't losing any sleep over him and the twit wouldn't waste money or time to find the monster who murdered over 3,000 innocents. I guess if there's no money to be made why bother, right bully bishop?

"We don't say those things. We keep our options quiet. We do not go out and say to a nation which is working with us

No Mittens, backstabbers do what you do. Cowards would do what you'r proposing.
Our President looks his ally in the face, and out of RESPECT for that relationship says to the ally: "If you don't act, I will".
    You two-faced, flip-flopping, cowardly PUNK.

Romney STILL would not go after OBL and the GOP's "uber patriotism" and "flag-waving rah-rah" image is shattered. 1. Their mouthpiece Faux Snews outs a Navy Seal......2. Flip mentions the veterans NEVER in his speech. They will still get the majority of the military vote. Why I have no idea since Duh Duh Duh-bya deployed soldiers countless times with sub standard equipment, no plan for withdraw, no-bid contracts to companies that poisoned their water, electrocuted them, and made them buy their own flak jackets
